I said as a bit of a joke, in Aurora Fleet skype chat, "Would it not be cool to have a cmputer game, like an RPG involving our characters ?"

That all said yes.

Now, I have been hunting for a programming suite that is easy to use, but I have not found one yet.

Among the same lines, Pretoria can also have its own game. 3d is out of the question, the graphics are just too hard to pull off: Especially Stryker and Kyruzix.

So, an RPG will be easy to create and program :D

Well, you could use Elite force.

They have ship maps (and starbase, shuttles and much more) that some people out there use for actual rp. Your character can sit down, touch stuff, travel in the turbolift or Jeffreys tubes, talk to bridge from engineering etc and you can talk to people around you or to the whole crew or one to one (its in writing of course.. so that's the only bummer its hard to do things and write in the same time). And it requires that everyone have a copy of the same version of elite force.... I tried it out when my computer still could run those programs, it's fun and its more fun if you actually rp with people you know. I think you can make those 'games' private and not get people constantly interrupting your game.

Another limit is that the avatars are few, but I think you can create your own..., there exist software for that..not sure how to do that though..

I think I heard of another way, there exist some kind version of sim.. can't remember the details, someone told me this once...
