So we have a webcomics topic and a flashy cartoony topic, but what about those poor abandoned websites that fit neither? This goes out to you, random-generator site!

As for mine:

Superdickery, com: If you know even a little bit about Superman you will laugh. Not safe for work. Look at it with the volume turned off, sometimes annoying audible commercials pop up.

Postsecret: People write anonymous secrets on postcards and mail them in. Simple. Might not be safe for work.

FictionPress.com: All the home-brewed literature you’d ever, ever need. And if you’re up for it, you could try writing something yourself.

Fark.com: Sattirical news articles. Think if the daily show was in text form, and had user submissions.

Somethingawful.com: Really only for Photoshop Phridays.

Postsecret for the win!

A girl I knew once wrote a story off of one of them. It was quite good. Very real.

I second fark.com and Something Awful, though Fark's discussions tend to get wierd sometimes. Wierd as in "flamewarish."

Also, I go to Nationstates.net. My big text-based RPG obsession.

Anime News Network, for the occasional news feeds and the friday Hey Answerman! article.

XD Happy feelings of goodness!

Also forgot one:

Jackfish Crow: This guy writes fairy-tale like stories, oftentimes for people he knows. Not everyone may like it *coughcoughJoshcough* but he captures the mythic feel well.
