Brian, The 40k image is playing off the space marine passage from the codec "Suffer not the Heretic to live". They replaced "Heretic" with "Furry", since 4chan has a noted hatred for furries. The girl in the suit is one of 4chan's mascots, who is associated with the inexplicable spam of the Japanese verb "Desu", or "To be". Thus, "Desu" is added to the end. |

i think desu can be used as a keyword to bump a topic up without posting in it but you'ld have to check the 4chan rules. isn't she from Rozen Maiden? |

Thanks, Max, for covering my ass on that one. Seriously. Also, another site that is infamous/famous for furry hate is Something Awful. And yes, it's from Rozen Maiden. Apparently the Japanese Foreign Minister loves that show. He's also a hardcore Japanese ultranationalist, but that's a different story altogether .As compensation, I'll deliver one that's more silly in a straightforward way. My bro found it browsing spacebattles.net, and I had to get it:

I would rather have a chainsword ^^. However, to Max...i understood the reference, but why someone would do that to 40k is beyond me...the connection is rather slim and i must say I don't think the heels or corset are standard issue. |

Yes...but imagine a rocket-assisted chainsword. That would rule. That may be the Ork in me talking though. |

Chainswords are nice, but I prefer the Basselope missile:![]() Yes, I know it was last week, but here is the OTHER anime communist party -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVRC_dtazhg. --- And a pic I took of them shortly after. In other news, they apparently put Katsucon cosplay videos on Youtube now. Sweet. None of the monkey from K6, though. |

I remember that one. Doonesbury was an awesome cartoon, its modern incarnation is ok as well, though not quite as gut-bustingly silly as the original. |
