XD No, that's actually one of my best classes grade-wise. Work-wise, it's one of my worst >_>. Just reffering to the fact that the class which watches serenity -isn't- the class which reads V for Vendetta. |

Well, in my English 111 class, we didn't watch any movies, read any cool things, and we wrote more than most W classes. So don't consider yourself unlucky. |

My English 111 I found out I didn't need to take, since I took the equivalent of it during high school >_< But we got to read stuff that was interesting to me... it was based on nature reading and the like, and I absolutely loved it. I wouldn't have traded it for any other english class, it was that perfect. And yeah... midterms... Had one yesterday that I didn't start studying for until 20 mins before the actual exam, and I have one tomorrow which is a walk-around-campus to identify 30 plants from the 85 we're supposed to know... ::dies:: |

ahahaha.... that plant id exam sounds sooo much better than my aquatic plant bio exams.... "here's a list of 85+ plants... memorize them" exam = "here's 70 of those plants.. dried and glued to herbarium sheets... TELL ME ALL OF THEM!" *dead* I also have a midterm tomorrow... and I've been stuck at the lab since 3 already... yay no dinner and studying for an hour.... |

Then her fiance will take over until 6:30 unless I satisfactorily convice em I'm actually awake to go to work for 7. |

Midterms....studied until 4am for my Music and World Cultures class, then found out it was a relatively simple affair with mostly fill in the blank and multiple choice questions and 1 short essay. Hell of an anticlimax. |

You had music in world too noodleman? Yeah, wasn't too bad... though a couple of the fill in questions were nasty. What was the bell drum in the Mande Angbekor called? |

i'm going to die in this small window-less room... with the buzzing of the FACScan machine in my ears.... small dots dancing before my eyes... i hate research sometimes. especially when it means twelve hours in 3 days in a small lab THE WEEK BEFORE THE GRE AND THE SAME DAYS AS TWO EXAMS... </rant> |

Calm down Lina. It's all going to be okay. *Edges away slowly*. I'm extremely bored in English class at the moment, although it's one of my favorites. |

Whats the difference between English 111 and 110, I'm gonna need to take one of them and I don't like english. So I want the transition to be as painless as possible. |

English 110 is non-fiction, and overall it varies from your teacher, but it is mainly a bad class because its rather difficult...most people take 111 just because it is fiction and somewhat better...depends on your tastes. |

I'm in english 111 and our first essay is due on november 1st... we have only read 6 essays from our book and because of that we get rebates at the end of the semester... over all i like my english class because there isnt a lot of work ... i felt like dying in CSE lab today tho... i had an "appointment" with my TA and we worked on a lot of stuff i didnt know, so now i'm more confident... but still feel bad i didnt know so much stuff that seemed so easy. I have a chem test next friday... and i had a calc test that i thought i did well on and ended up getting a low c on... TT_TT i was questioning my exsistence earlier... like "noooooo college suuuucks!!!!" ...but i'm feeling better ... thank god i only have 4 days of classes or else i'd die for sure! i think there's something wrong with me... i'm getting hopped up on adrenaline from all this stress. and thats not good.......well, hopefully this week will be better than this past week was. good luck to us all on exams....

Ewe Agbekor, ya mean. It's the gankokgui, double bell used to coordinate the various instruments. |
