I actually saw two live-action Japanese movies based on anime. Cromartie High School (duh), and Shinobi, which I believe is probably based on several different anime (Basilisk, maybe?). Two warring clans pick 5 representatives to fight each other, one from each side loves each other, cliches abound, lots of people die, the end. On the flip side of that, what anime have you seen that's based off something live action? Is that something for another thread? The only ones I can think of at the moment are Gankutsuou (Count of Monte Cristo) and Samurai 7 (again, duh), but there are probably others. |

The game shinobi wasn't that bad... the controls were a little funky, but that could be because I only played it once... |
