Yeah, I saw her there too - I was like, 'whoa, aren't you supposed to be in Georgia?'. Oh well, it was still cool.

How could I have forgotten Life Squared! It hasn't been updated in two-plus years, but the author used to be the Vice-prez of the anime club (and, in fact, got me to start going to the anime club - but don't hold that against her.) And the 12/10/2002 strip has me in it, back when I could still see my feet. *sigh*

Dominic Deegan. That is all. You may start worshiping him now.

Haven't read any new ones lately, but has anyone seen Your Webcomic is Bad and You Should Feel Bad? So far he's ripped on VGCats, Ctrl-Alt-Del, Sluggy Freelance, El Goonish Shive, PVP --- and really hates Dominic Deegan. Hasn't gone after Megatoyko yet but says he plans to.

Fortunately, he hasn't gone after any I read yet (except maybe User Friendly, which I haven't kept up with in about 8 years.... :) )

I've always thought that Dominic Deegan was kinda over-rated. And fan-worship of Mookie at convention has always just irritated me.

*shrug* To each their own

Maybe so, but I thought his performance in Do The Right Thing was well-done. (Obscure??)

I can't really follow anything with huge storylines/story arcs/story sinewaves/etc unless they're really well-written - probably why I've had a hard time getting into most manga or comic books, or "24" .... damn you, short attention span!!

Now, if anyone started doing webcomic Cliff notes? Well, they wouldn't make much money but it's a nice thought.

Almost forgot: Bands I Useta Like

Some more I've discovered recently...

PartiallyClips - Rob Balder's Clip Art Webcomic. The 1/30 comic was especially hilarious when I eventually figured it out.

Alien Loves Predator - Actually, they're just good friends.

Achewood - Which you probably know about but I hadn't seen it posted here yet.

Haven't decided which of these I actually like, but they're very high on my personal "What The Hell?!"-meter, so that's gotta say something.

AAAAA - MSPaint, Nooooo!!
Cat And Girl
Pictures for Sad Children
To and Fro

Recently found Apropos of Something -- they haven't updated in a while, but there's lots of archives to go through. I got a kick out of the "lolbats" entry (3rd one down).

Also, Kawaii Not
