This all new mod is an epic tale... a tale of two races: the Serians and the Maerdinaas, locked in a struggle for supremacy... a tale of hope and despair in a world that has seen far too much darkness... and a tale of mystery... The Forest of Stingh The Maerdinaas - The Isle's Saviors. For far too long the Serians had controlled Stingh. Since King Elegoer IV had been killed 'accidentally,' the people prospered under the rule of their new king, a tyrant: Elegoer V. The people and whatever army Stingh had lay rotting in Cresting, the capital city in the mountains. The Maerdinaas saw weakness in the powers that controlled their world, and the noble warriors pledged to rid themselves of this ignorant king and rule the isle properly. They called themselves the Isle's Saviors. But such a plan could not stay secret for long. King Elegoer V offered gold to anybody who would fight for him in the approaching war. An army of Serians convened, and they met the rebel Maerdinaas army at the gates of Cresting. The rebels were quickly crushed by the Royal Army. With little hope left, the rebel leader and his best warriors broke through the forces at the gate and killed the king in his throne room. The king was a living anchor that connected magic with the Serian race, and with no heir to take the throne for the Serians, the magic was swept away and the Serians left powerless. The Serians fled the land and regrouped on another island to plan how to take their home back. 10 Years Later... Stingh and the three surrounding islands are filled with the chaos of war. The rebel Maerdinaas that control Stingh are finding the defense the land difficult, and everyday the Serians threaten to break through the defenses and reclaim Stingh. Their king has been mysteriously assassinated and their new elected leader knows little of strategy. But the Serians aren't without their own problems. Their leader has fallen ill and his recovery has been assured, but will take time. The Maerdinaas need to stall the approach of the Serian forces and work out a plan to save all that they have fought for. Rumors of a warrior from one of the forest villages has reached the ears of the new king of the Maerdinaas. The final battle of the war is coming, and there is little hope left for the Maerdinaas. You certainly seem to have changed it a LOT, Sep. If you hadn't told me, i wouldnt even have known it was based on SCL! Well, good luck getting this done, though imho you should focus on BOD first. This sounds good!

Term, you know I'm a multitasking TES IV workaholic.
I want to have a sweet screenie up tonight. I'm putting a lot of attention into getting news and updates out there for this mod, so that it's not as in the dark as BOD. |

Sounds great! Can't wait to see how it turns out. And yes Chris, try learning to model while doing modeling for about 5 projects. Its interesting, but very difficult, and probably frustrating for the other members of the teams. But yes, 10 mod projects would be much to much to work on at once for me. |

Wow! I've done amazed myself again! I've outdone myself, I believe. It's colorful, but greyed-out at the same time. The environment is gloomy and intense. The city, called Cresting, is a true shocker. It's absolutely gorgeous! I cannot wait to post some screens. |

Ooh, progress... I hadn't thought of the actual percentage. It's too early to say for sure. I've almost got the land in shape, and I've been placing plants, trees, rocks, and working on landtextures. After that, if I have the town finished, I'm going to release that as the first part, and then build on that. Not too much longer! |

Well I haven't worked on this in awhile, but I'm definitely not giving up on the project. With luck, our first version release can be done over the summer. Mind you, it isn't going to be very playable. Just the main landmass, the town of Cresting, and some static NPCs. But following releases will build on this. |
