No. Just, no. Don't try to make a game what it's not suppose to be. Total conversions are ok. They don't change what a game is. But changing a singleplayer RPG into a multiplayer RPG just isn't cool. The game was meant to be singleplayer. If you don't like that, don't play the game. |

I really like single player in oblivion, but the idea of multiplayer would be cool. I still like oblivion for what it is, but to me, a multiplayer mod is a addon to an already great game, and if its fun (i have yet to try it) i will play it. That is my view P.S CHris once i get my oblivion disc back from a friend i might be able to play with you, but i dont have a charactor anymore... so my charactor would be pretty sad... |

If it works, I guess I'd try it out...I must know, however, does it have problems with other mods? I know multi-player versions of other games have problems if one user has a mod but the other doesn't. I need to know because I have about 60-ish mods and my character literally depends upon about half of them. |

You could use them, It works best if both people have the same mods but the only side affect is that you wont see the other persons mod affects. I could get the same mods as you though, im sure that they are good. Plus we could play three player too. its up to 4 players. |

Ok, i have some of those mods though most if not all are updated. As soon as Tessource is back up I think we should both update. Lots of new mods since april btw. you should take a look around some, especially the official forums. |

I have 49 mods...I don't want to spend half a day updating...though...I don't have much else to do today... Edit: Wait...TESSource probably won't be back up today... Edit:
I have a robe. This won't be a problem will it? Edit: I just saw the You Tube video. The other player has no animations. I don't know if I want that. Edit: Wait, I just read further down the thread and the player does have animations. Edit:

i have no mods whatsoever right now, i dont even have oblivion installed :(. It would take me quite a long time to get all of those... i could try though, they all sound like they are pretty good... i wonder how the leveling would work if you had a level 48 guy and i had a level 3 guy... it would be strange... you would be figthing a different animal then the other person, im assuming Edit: i could always use some console command sto bring my player a bit up to speed... im not that much of a hardcore player anyway |

guerrilla What do you plan to use? It's been awhile since I've seen my character, but I remember that he has a lot of resist magick, a lot of reflect magick, a lot of resist normal weapons, a lot of reflect damage, a lot of resist poison, a lot of resist fire, and a spell that gives him 95% chameleon (It says 100%, but it never seems to actually give me 100%...) Gook luck

My best character was a high elf. My first. I believe I got to level 22, full Daedric except for elven gauntlets with detect life in them, DB stuff, and goldbrand and a couple other swrods from the Daedric quests. That's about as far as I got with her. EDIT, ninja, last I saw, CORE 2 was still in production. |

if you could make a sacrifice and start a new charactor JUST for online, with no mods enabled at the time (or not many at least), it would make it a lot easier and fairer (is that a word? :D) Once I get my oblivion disk back from a friend i'll be able to get it installed. |

How would it even work? The best you could do would be to have an NPC with exactly the same stats and inventory as one PC in the other PCs game, and have them somehow linked to the PC they represent... difficult, buggy, and not very effective, by the sounds of it... |
