What plugins did you download? What version of blender do you have? What happens when you try to open a mesh? If you have blender version 2.43/2.44 uninstall it. Download 2.42 and install it. 2.43/2.44 isn't very stable. And some plugins don't work for it. If you get an error message that says "This is a unsupported file type" (or something like that) then you have the wrong version of Blender/nif script. Links: Blender 2.42 Nif Scripts Note, the links take you straight to the download. So make sure your ready for them. |

You could export to .obj then improt that into Nifscope, it also works the other way around too

Using Blender, Export the file in the .Obj format, then import into Nifscope using an option at the very top, cannot recalll the name. you can also export from Nifscope and Import into Blender using this format. If you don't understand I will have to write a quick tutorial when I get home. |

If you look around Nifscope and find an option to export as .OBJ right ok. Once that is done open Blender and got to Import and select .OBJ and find the .OBJ file you exported from nifscope. You can then edit and save. Use the option to export as .OBJ or if it saved thats OK, then there should be an Import .OBJ file option next to the export option, use this to improt the .OBJ file you altered. |

Well I'm not too sure there, there should be some sort of option to edit the model, something like edit. this is all i used and never got too far with it. I hope the .OBJ bit helped, best way to get the mesh into blender cause the scripts are crap. |

You should be able to go to import a nif. Here's a howto. 1)Open Blender. 2)Delete the starting cube 3)Goto file->import->netimmerse/gamebryo file 4)find your mesh and click it then import 5)do whatever to the mesh Try this and tell me what happens. If you still can't get it. Send the file to me with what you want done to it and I'll get to it. What are you trying to do to this mesh?

That is simple. Once you can get the mesh in blender, enter edit mode (it should look kinda like a wireframe (the button is a drop down list at the buttom almost it should say Edit Mode or Object Mode)). View the mesh from the front (1 on the number pad (make sure numlock is on)) then press b for a click and drag box to select or press b again for a circle point and click selecter. Choose the vertices you want to delete then press x select vertexes from the menu that pops up. Repeat until done. Simpler way: Give the mesh to the Iambatosai guy you know with a list of what you want done.

After some experimentation, you have to do the .obj thing. Then import the .obj into blender. Uncheck everything in the materials area and check the X-90 thing. Then you can go edit your mesh. |

Why not? The reason why you can't import the .nif's is because the script only supports version 20.0.0.4 Oblivion uses 20.0.0.5 sooo close. |
