weekly update #1 5/25/07 The first and most obvious uddate, is that we are offically starting weekly updates. every week we will be posting weekly updates in order to keep everyone up to speed on our progress. The second but equaly big update is that we are moving to a new homepage on freewebs http://www.freewebs.com/paradoxmodteam/index.htm Swing by some time and check out some screenshots, enjoy some concept art(coming soon), learn more about the Cloud Cities project, and read other updates(a new one planed every week). Im going to keep the old home page up for another week or two, incase people havent heard about the new site. I think thats all for this week, well have more on next friday. ~CrazyDave |

I was next... The reason you haven't seen me at all, is because I accidentally deleted Windows. I should have it working again soon though, once my dad finally remembers to bring his Windows cd back from work. |

Like I said in our forum, I may have built the Temple on an ancien Indian burrial ground, I may have desecrated a few of the graves, And I may have angered the spirits, but I assure everyone this mod is not cursed |

Ah! I wondered why some of the scripts I made while I was doing those interiors buggered up. Thanks! |

Haha, those spirits wouldn't do anything to us... *hears a door creak open... Who's there? *no answer but there is a very soft breathing sound and very light footsteps and a spirit appears from seemingly nowhere Hey wha... *the rest on the text on the journal was indecipherable and covered in bloodstains... This was the end of Iambatosai. May his spirit rest in peace. |

Yeah! That would be cool. You could add a graveyard in OE, but all the tombstones are that of the people of this forum. |

I could do what I did with TheGuests tombstone in the battle. Born - day he joined. Died - day I made the tombstone. |

You could do that. I think it would be fun. All great games do things like that. In Baldur's Gate, there were tombstones in Nashkel with some of the game's makers. In dungen Siege II, there was a secret cave in which there were several npcs named after the game's creators who all said something different. I think it would be a great idea. |

I don't know. Maybe if you built a location for it on an ancient Indian burial ground, but I don't know where I got that idea... |

Alas, fear not. Thou shalt be saved. High Lord of the project, CD, has burdened me with the task of preparing stuff for doing the interiors, so finally we're making some progress. P.S. Just out of interest, do they teach Shakespeare at schools in America? |

In eighth grade, we had to read A Midsummer's Night Dream. Since then, we haven't read any Shakespeare, but I know that next year, or senior year (or both) we'll read more. I know Hamlet is coming up. |

Wow, I looked at some of your screenies for this project and they are just stupendous!! Love the stacked up round temple or castle that looked like a mountain the best. I hope that the curse gets lifted from this mod very soon because it is very beautiful and worthy of the light of day on download pages everywhere .. or at least at ElderPlanet. heheh May I suggest, to combat this powerful curse, importing a powerful deity to conquer it ... say, like .. Maat, The Egyptian Bird Goddess of Reason (that rules all) Her symbol? An Ibis. (Just a coincidence mind you.) tahahah! Seriously, I think it would work though. |
