There isn't any ranks. Once you become Force Sensitive the ranks are: Force Sensitive Force Adept Master Force Wielder If your choose light side powers: Jedi Initiate Jedi Padawan Jedi Knight Jedi Guardian Jedi Master Luke Skywalker is the NPC Grand Master If you choose dark side: Dark Jedi Initiate Dark Jedi Apprentice Dark Jedi Knight Dark Jedi Templar Dark Jedi Master Titles: Dark Jedi Oppressor [3] Dark Jedi Overlord [1] There are no Sith. The Dark Jedi work for the Sith, for the Sith are Vader and Sidious (NPC's) using the rule of two. Everyone starts as a mere civilian. |

Both sides have ranks in the FSRS, both sides have 11 council spots anda leader, dark jedi being the overlord, and the jedis have the "Jedi Chancellor" (Dont try and correct me saying its grand master or whatever, I didnt make the game), The dark jedi ones are just templar, enforer and oppressor, and the jedis is something like sentinels, consulars and something else?:S |

I haven't decided on how exactly you'll become a force sensitive just yet. I might not even release how, you might have to work it out for yourselves, it all depends on whats available. Rest assured, the path to force sensitivity will be as epic as I can make it. Few will get there, I have to say this now. Not everyone will be force sensitive, in fact only a small group will manage it. Don't worry though. |

Allow people to work it out for themself, it may add to the fun OR give them actually something to work for. |

Cloud... not in the pre-NGE days. In pre-NGE the Jedi/Sith easily PWNED everyone. Not quite the case in post-NGE, although Jedi still are very good. |

But if you didn;'t reach Knight/Master status and died 3/4 times you lost your whole charcter forever, so it was a HUGE risk, if you wasn't good being a Jedi. |

I'd like to leave in the permadeath system, but I might add some sort of karma element. For example, if a character with a lightsider goes and and just kicks the shit out of everything constantly, running into pvp battles and whatnot, each death might remove a certain value from a point system. For example, there's 100 points in this system. Each death is 20 or 25 points deducted. In order to get points back there could be a time element, say 20-25 added every 3 weeks or something that forces that character to do something to keep it up. E.g a Jedi could be rewarded karma for completing so many missions that would be appropriate to the character their playing. Only way I can describe it is LOOSELY like the sand thingie in Prince of Persia : Sands of Time, or the synchronisation system in Assassin's Creed. If you stray too far away from what your character is meant to be doing (I don't mean your character is controlled in any way, just you can't be a Jedi then go out and rape and pillage), your karma score will slowly drop until you don't have enough to "spend" on a respawn, thus equalling permadeath. Again though, I'm not entirely sure exactly how much tinkering can be done until its released. I got a shitload of ideas like that and I don't know if I can implement them yet. |
