Using Force Powers; 1 Line isn't sufficient.

I've seen how people in a fight will use a force power within 1 or 2 lines.

-Force waves you-
-You hit the wall hard-
-Force pulls you here now-

This isn't the right way to use it. After all, it's still an attack. The only time I've seen it used correctly is with Sith using Force Choke or Force Lightning. And this is not how I saw it but it goes something like it.

Force Choke
-force grips your neck-
-starts compressing your neck-
-your skin gets tight-
-your muscles get tight-
-your windpipe gets blocked-
-you asphyxiate to death-

Force Lightning
-hands start jolting lightning-
-shoots lightning ray at you-
-comes in contact with skin-
-burns your skin-
-burns your muscles-
-conducts through bones-
-burns your nerves-
-dead-

These are some of the many valid ways of killing through the force. Even if you don't use it to kill, maybe you want to just injure someone, move something, stun, heck maybe even arouse someone, the force should be use as a 3-5 line attack/performance. Like to move objects with it.

-force pulls my hilt-
-detaches from belt-
-hilt flies to my hand-
-i grip the hilt-

We can teach proper usage of the force in our jedi/sith classes (in other words, we make them better and faster typers). If a student cant get it right in 3-5 lines, then they cannot advance. Enforcing this will encourage them to surpass their limits and reach their goals and form a better RP.

Dereck made a topic on how he teaches the force and it inspired me to write this. He implemented the use of the force in more than one line and so yeah that's what I think is right. So yeha try this out. FOR OUR OWN GOOD!

-force waves you down-
-flicks my hand in the air-
-charges the force around me-
-unleashes it in a burst 360 degrees-
-slams you off a wall-
That's retarded.

Well it makes things harder to kill.
Can be both a good and bad thing
It would also limit the force spammage.
I think if this ever goes into effect, it should be a few lines for a force move to work.
Not just two.
=\

It'd be something like

-flicks my hand at you-
-send force wave at you-
-you get hit by the wave-
-carries you across the room-
(and then if you want some pwnage)
-you hit the wall hard-
-your head hits the wall-
-pushes your skin in-
-pushes your muscle in-
-pushes your skull-
-skull cracks under pressure-
-brain stabbed by skeletal fragments-
-dead or retarded...-

Of course you think "AMG THATS GOD MODE!"
not really... one has the oppurtunity. Once hit by the wave you have to use ** this line to stop the killing combo after the wave.

-flicks my hand at you-
-send force wave at you-
-you get hit by the wave-
-carries you across the room-
-you hit the wall hard-
*falls to the floor*
*stands up quick*

If you dont get that line then durr you're still in effect of the force wave and about to get pwnd. So yes it has its advantages and disadvantages.

The reason that the so called "sith force powers" are five lines is because they're killing moves. Leave it how it is.

Basically I wanted longer force moves consider people just didn't go:
-force push-
-slam over-

Such as Obi wan with Grievous.

-flicks my hand back and to you-
-sends you in the air-
-you fly through the air-
-you slam off the wall-

It makes sense to do this since people spam so much force.

Force powers are attacks and should be described the same in lines. It's better than just the plain old

*force waves you*
*you hit the wall*

I do it the fun way.
Force pull
*force pulls you to me here*
*catches you in my hands*

Force Wave
*force waves you to the wall*
*you bounce off of it*
*you hit the ground hard*

Force Storm, if used
*casts force storm onto your head*
*it surges into your head*
*it seeps into your brain*
*it heats it up there*
*the brain overheats there*
*the brain explodes within your head*
*you fall over*
*dead*

so on and so forth.

In the movies I hate how they use force push, it's like
*gathers the force into my palm*
*sends my hands backwards*
*Rams my palm into your chest*
*you fly across the room and hit the wall.*

Yeah but wouldn't you feel like... it's too plain?
And anyways by doing this we can actually do something to train the students. And it really helps them. THAT You cannot deny.

Yes, it does help people get faster.
It also gives more detail to the moves.

And on another good side
STOPS SPAM
Fuck sakes.
xD

Also makes the fighting system better, so people aren't flying across the room and then flying onto a wall , and then on the roof and stuff.

All in like what? 10 seconds?
Christ.

Welll, when i force WAVE someone, I do it.. the more.. complicated way.
*puts my hand into the air*
*channels my energy around me*
*casts force wave onto the area now*
*it sends you all back to the wall*
*you slam off of it hard*

But during a spam raid, I keep it simple.

and thats the point. If we put this into use we can make spamming more harder. and the jedi can have a slight advantage where as the sith still have the upperhand because of their typing speed. Nonetheless, we train and get better.
