You know, I think the RP (mainly the Jedi, I admit) would benefit if there were some kind of IC Laws put into place. For example, you may not murder anyone. Doing so will result in a trial and a possible *insert penalty*.

Now I know we don't have a court system or anything, but maybe some people could make just a little sub-character as a judge for special occasions.

Just, you know... the Republic had laws and things, so why don't we?

Didn't Kevin have this, it was like.
If you attack a Jedi, you're imprisioned.
If you're a Jedi and attack a jedi you're exiled.
If you're a Jedi and kill a Jedi, you're striped from the force.

What if you harass the Jedi at the order?
What if you come inside and are trespassing?
What if you do damage to the property?
What if you assault someone who is not Jedi? (Sith don't count because Republic hates dem)
What if you break out of prison?
How long is each prison sentence depending on your crime?

The Jedi are to escort you out of the region that the Order is in.

If they are tresspassing then they must be escorted out, if they are showing resistance they should be forced out or into imprisionment. (I don't like cells though)

What if you do damage to the property?

If you're doing damage to the property the local enforcement should be forcing you to repair the damage, then you'll be escorted out of the area or imprisioned by the republic.

Then the Republic and Jedi should arrest you or if you cause mass murdering then a death sentance.

Then they should be brought back to a cell, with higher security defenced (i.e: stun fields; only way to turn them off is from a terminal in another room.) And if they show resistance; death.

Exctly their sentence depends on how bad your crime is, if you caused a lot of damage, if you put up a lot of resistance. How many laws you broke.

what if your a rebel and decide to stay away from court, what if your a mass murderer and go chainsaw massacre on their asses, what if you dont want to go to prison? is there a way to braek out from prison?
do the jedi think that they could randomly pick up a sithfor being bad and killing or w/e and just assume that they ahve to go to jail? what if the sith kills off the arrestors? it wouldnt work,m but if you could make it work, it would be neat, but there has to be a way to avoid it and such, otherwise its godmod.

It's nothing close to godmod...
They could get out of it easy; killing off the people who try to arrest them.
Killing off the people who try to kill them.
Of course doing this would just raise their wanted status. Make us want them more, hire bounty hunters; make a better RP.

no but im saying like if they were arrested, and in jail
are the jail defenses going to be homo so that they cant get out type thing, thats what i mean. like if someone commits a crime, they are arrested, or actually, how about someone commits a crime, and then they flee, they go to another planet, how can they just "find out" where they are, and then just randomly click the stalk button on the console, and go to arrest tehm, that would be godmod, how are they gunna rp "finding them" in a non noobish way, and if they get caught, and are in prison, is it going to be reasonable defenses, that people can get past going in and out? or is it going to be bloody ridiculous.

People use their telepathic force moves to create a mind link with another force being; thus calling them to their location to get them out of the cells and kill the people who imprisioned them in the first place.

"Nothing like godmod."

They're basically the same as what we have in real life. Just instead of drugs or whatnot, we'd say deathsticks.

Pointless idea. Easily RP'd. Who said the Republic is in control of the Senate anyways? Technically, we dont even have a Senate. And technically, nothing states in the rules or whatever that we have an NPC senate.

We just RP, act as if we do, and thats all we need to do.

Just the same as we can do with Laws. Act as if we do know the laws, and it all runs smoothly.

No offense to the idea or you but it's just pointless if it's not a problem that needs fixing. Additions just expand everything when we our population isnt exactly large or smart for that matter.

If you're arrested it's your own fault. Don't commit crimes and then expect not to be arrested. Commit crimes only when you're good enough to kill of arresters. If you can't kill the arresters.. go train your ass off.
