Flag burning:

Within the right of freedom of speach in the first admendment? Or, vandalism and a crime against the United states.

Finally a post I dont agree with you on. I was getting worried for a minute there. But it refers to the Johnson V. Texas case. Look it up.

Who really does? Even if people do say it's wrong, people will still do it.
I mean, I can say God doesn't exist a thousand times, but that won't make people stop believing in him. People think racism is wrong, but guess what? People still are.

Hey, dumbass, that's what they think about it.

People who pms over it should go put a bullet in their foot. It's a piece of cloth with a design on it- we take these kinds of things far too seriously, I swear.

I think flag burning is absolutely hilarious. Muslims seem to do it a lot in angry mobs. In fact, thats generally the Muslims approach to something, isn't it? Fucking retards. I wish Muslims were wiped off the face of the earth in all honesty. Its the only religion that can openly declare complete destruction of everything except themselves and then they have the audacity to ask for respect from the rest of the world. Even Christians have to shut the fuck up at some point, although they aren't THAT far behind.

Anyway, bit o' flag burning for you. I love youtube.

Flag burning? Lol.

There is such thing as Flag Etiquette, but that is only etiquette and is not law.

However, there is a bit of a loophole there.

If you have ever said the "Pledge of Allegiance" to the flag of the United States, then you most likely can be tried for treason if you burn the flag.

For example, the pledge goes like this (for anyone on here that is UK and doesn't know it):

"I pledge allegiance to the flag, of the United States of America; and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

So since you're pledging allegiance to the flag, you would technically be committing treason against it; and thus you would be committing treason against your country.

However, there is such thing as the First Amendment ("Free speech," which doesn't exist) which says that you are not bound by any words you say.

So, therefore, you can burn flags all day long.

The thing in the Texas V. Johnson case, dealing with teh first admendment was:
"Do actions fall under 'speech'?"

And I agree the first admendment needs help. and remade, considering it doesnt seem to be real anymore.
