Statistics - PETA kills more animals than any other corporation, because they are sent animals, and they do not know what to do with them, so they take 'em out back and ol' yeller 'em.

I get both sides here. I practically live on meat, but what bothers me is the way animals are treated. Its not impossible to get it perfect but at the same time even if they're going to die and be eaten anyway, until that time they should be treated with the respect we would expect if it was the other way around, know what I mean?

The adrenaline thing i've heard about before, and I really think its wrong to put something through hell for a slightly better quality of meat that will make an extra bit of profit. I understand what you're saying about the aardvark thing too, Sar, and I totally and utterly agree - But thats whats so irritating about it. I'm the sort of person who doesn't distinguish like that, the cuter an animal is the more respect it deserves sort of thing.

I believe, even though i'm not a (mindless) god-fearing (weak) creature, that regardless of whatever everyone and everything should be treat the same. I could honestly say that if i saw an aardvark getting tortured and a dolphin getting tortured both would have an equal impact on me. Buttttt, with most people, that isn't the case and it really does give pro-lets-torture-animals people ammunition.

I aint going to stop eating meat. Hell, i had a piece of pig with a couple chicken fetuses just earlier slapped between some bread. But. I dunno. As much as thats fair enough and we do need meat for a stable diet, there is a responsibility that comes with it morally. Animals don't need to go through pain in order to end up on our plates and i think everything in our power should be used to stop us from reaching such a low as a culture.
