Rishi. One of the earliest worlds to be taken under the wing of the Gree Empire. An Empire which had finally attracted the attention of the Sepratist Consortium due to its quickly growing support. And this world in particular bordered Sepratist space and that, would not be tolerated. The GNN had recently reported the Sepratist 'Declaration of War' to the Galaxy. And here it would be enacted... The space around Rishi was mid-night black, so desolate and empty save for the smallest stars in the distance. One of them would be the planet known as Kamino where up until recently a Sepratist blockade had been growing and growing. The planet itself was a ravaged wasteland, and why the Sepratists woudlw aste resources protecting it is unknown. The answer came in a bright flash of light near Rishi. From this light the former Blockade of Kamino jumped into sight of Rishi. The entire blockade, consisting of close to one hundred frigates, and fifty Destroyers formed a shadowy behemoth in the skies. The people of the planet could only clutch their loved ones and cry. A few moments later, three more ships jumped from Hyperspace to sit amoungst the fleet. These three ships were different however. Two ships were large and rectangular - nothing like the standardized battle ship. They were new, heavy duty transport vessels made especially for vehicles. The other, was the infamous flagship of the Sepratist Admiral, Ahrael. Araehl stood aboard his flag-ship. His skin was a pallid colour and his eyes were puffy with too much alcohol. EVen his breath smelt almost toxic, his teeth decayed and yellow. Despite this shambolic appearnece, he remained on the best tactical minds in the Galaxy and had never lost a battle thus far. Ahrael spoke across the fleet. "Soliders of the Sepratist Consortium. Your task here is a simple one - you will invade this planet and crush the light of the Gree Empire from our lands. For the Sepratists!" he bellowed. Across the fleet each ship seemed to rumble with the chorus of cheers that rang out. After a few moments, the screen chaned to only show the other commanders of the fleet. "Frigates, being bombardment of the planets main tactical positions and form a blockade to prevent reinforcements being relayed onto the planets surface. Transport ships form into this blockade and wait orders." He pauses, and the fleets frigates begin to form a blockade around the planet. When Ahrael speaks again, it is over the consistent turbolaser fire of the frigates. "Destroyers, form uip defence positions and await incoming attack from the Gree Empire. Take no prisoners." The attack had begun. |

Fighters were scrambled, and the defensive fleet came into action. Taking fire on the Sepratists, they quickly sent a distress signal for help. Soon, more ships began to emerge from hyperspace, them aswell opening fire on the separatist fleet, hoping to surprise them by attacking from both sides. With more and more ships arriveing at the moment, they also set out the new defensive program, allowing hundreds of different species to join for defence. Humans, Rutanians, creatures from each planet joined in with the 'Defensive militia.' General Anklavia sat in his char aboard The Empirical. As it came from orbit, following the other ships comeing in, they sent fighters scrambling, and began to activate offensive initiations. The troops were brought to form like a circle around the Consortium, making it to be almost impossible for them not to hit a few ships. Then, they began fire. |

As the defence of Rishi began to come into action; gears grinding noisily until they began to move as a coherant unit the Sepratists opened fire. The armada of light-weight frigates began their stream of turbolaser fire onto the unprepared defences of Rishi. Huge amounts of turbolasers tore apart the space around Rishi, blinding red bolts as blidning as the brightest fires as hell. The small defence of Rishi would be no match for the sheer number of frigates which now opened fire upon them. Behind this fire-fight the Gree Empire came to defend its planet. The Destroyer's deteccted this fleet as they left Hyperspace and opened fire almost immediately on the Sepratist forces. One Destroyer had its shield flicker and a stray shot tore through the hull causing the Destroyer to explode in a furious fireball which blinded everyone whom watched it. Ahrael slammed a hand on the arm of his chair. "All positions open fire on the Gree reinforcements. Leave NONE of them alive. Defence Sqaud 4 release fighters now! On command, ten ships opened their bowels releasing hundreds, possibly thousands of fighters out. The small ships whirlled towards the Gree Empire's fleet firing their much smaller weapons at the vital points of their ships; life-support, shield generators, engines and the Bridge were all the main targets. |

More fighters were deployed,to take fire upon the on-coming ships. Specially outfitted to fit the Gree, the creator class has outdone itself here. The ships were controlled by 4 of the six tentacles, and required all ones attention. Reasoning behind this is so the pilots will not be distracted from the fight. The shields on one of the larger ships fell, leaving it open to fire upon. Finally, the defensive militia came into the battle, giving aid to Gree forces already fighting. Hoping to catch the Sepratists off guard in the taking of the shields, forces came in behind them, taking fire. A gree fighter flashed by The Empirical exploding 20 seconds later. The Empirical opened fire upon separatist fleets. From all around, the Gree boxed the sepratists in to one place. Though they had superior numbers, the gree hoped that by keeping them boxed in they could attack on all sides, so they would be able to cut through the ships faster, with less effort, and less troop loss. More ships then arrived from Rutan and Arbra, helping to block in the enemy, opening fire on the foe at the same time. [All ships coming are valid, in a previous post i took Rutan and Arbra, if needed, feel free to read up.] |

The dog-fights were well underway. The fighters looked tiny compared to the collassal size of the Destroyers they fought beside, and the explosions when one was struck by a bolt seemed like drops in the ocean along side the Destroyers which exploded a thousand times brighter taking out any fighters near to them. The Sepratist fighters were Y-Wing class, chosen for their battle experience and having been tested for hundreds of years. Though not as modern as the Gree fighers, they were apt and powerful machines of war - and there were thousands of them. The continuous dogfights meant that coloured traces seemed to fill the space between the two opposing forces with a myriad of compelling colors. While this happened, the Gree Empire attempted to block the Sepratist forces in against the planet. This was a tested military tactic; the Gree Empire had clearly been in battles before... but the Sepratists were a new breed of warrior; undefeated thus far in the Galaxy. A contingent of Sepratist frigates shuffled through the main ranks, and, as they had done in battles previous Hyperspace jumped towards the Gree fleet. The resulting explosions as they hyperspace lane was obstructed would cause explosions would would ravage the Gree. At the same time, the larger frigates and the two oblong ships settled into orbit around the planet of Rishi. While the battle raged around them they began to unload their transport vessels towards the surface of Rishi... |

Space As the transport vessels began to fall, they ran head on first into the defensive militia. Though the militia was not as well trained as other troops, they would probably be more then adequately powerful to take on a few transport ships, coming into battle against their powerful, fully armed weapons of destruction. The Gree began to push the separatists to the side of the hyperspace lane, hoping to direct them away from the hyperspace lane. The major ships moved in, to force the separatists to move back, unless they planned on having a head-on collision of ships. Still keeping the block around, they continued fire.General Anklavia then decided it was time. "Charge the ion cannons, prepare to fire!" Both sides were beginning to have casualties, but the Gree could not lose Rishi, it was to important. On planet Forces scrambled in the many cities upon the planet, setting up canons and vehicles of the ground. Thousands of troops marched into place, taking up arms, forming blockades around the different cities. Blaster cannons were set into place, and the forces only hoped all was okay in orbit. |

The poorly organsised, though affluent militia was no match for the sheer number of transport vessels which descended upon the planet. Though, many were short down, sparks flying through the air as they spirraled down crashing into buildings and streets across the planet. Transports hit the ground and Sepratist troops poured out into a number of locations, mainly the cities. They were some of the best at urban warfare in the Galaxy, having won every battle they had fought so far. Speratist troops infiltrated buildings on the edge of twon and began advancing inwards steadily, their tanks rolling through the streets annhilating any whom dared attack them. In space, the kamikazee ships were less than expected. Fifteen ships flung themselves into the Gree defences. All fifteen ships exploded in huge balls of fire, rupturing the shields of the Gree ships causing them too to explode. From Rishi people watched in fear as the sky went alight with flames. It seemed as if the sky itself had become a raging inferno as debris rained down upon their planet. The remainder of the Sepratist fleet was now able to spread out through the many gaps created by this suicide assault. Sepratists ships moved up alongside and behind the Gree ships. Now, without being surrounded, their sheer size and numbers ment they were easily out-firing the Gree assault, pummelling them mercilessly until their shields simply ran out of power. |

Space "Ion cannons, fire!" The shots blasted through space, making the ways straight at the Separatists. Though they had lost a decent amount of ships, they knew if they could connect with the ion cannon and shut down power, they could still take control of the battle. The ships moved in closer, filling the gaps that had been taken. This was only a fraction of the empire, and so they would go down fighting. The last of the fighters were sent out to battle, the Gree knew this was an all or nothing attack, a final assault. On Planet As the transport ships flew in from orbit, the blaster cannons readily aimed to kill. Blasts were fired up into the air, head on at the transport ships. It would be almost impossible for them to dodge the fire from the blaster cannons, considering the speed they entered at. The shipyards and civilians began evacuation, fleeing into either underground strongholds, or attempting to escape on the other side of the planet via ship, where surprisingly, no fire had landed yet. Those who had landed from separatist ships, the Gree began to use Guerrilla warfare. Traps and ambushes were set up around major cities, while smaller ones were defended by carefully concealed militia. Hiding in buildings, they would remain totally silent, and then open fire on the unsuspecting target. Snipers began to fire from the many outposts around the planet, and others fired from within trees. Using this to take on the foe via surprise, several 2-M repulsion tanks would then flood the enemies, first destroying the transports to stop escape, then fire on the troops. These tactics were used all around the planet. To add to the Grees help, they had the native Rishii's attacking the on coming troops, who wouldn't expect to see gigantic birds coming down to rip out their throats. They also used the advantage of knowing the land to the fullest extent, using this knowledge to plant hidden explosives throughout the forest. |

The Sepratists were already comfortable knwoing that they had defeated the Gree Empire in space. It was just another battle to note down to their victories. No matter how hard the Gree fought now, they were too outnumbered to make a difference. The Sepratist destroyers began their defences flights, avoiding incoming turbolasers and returning fire with their own large weapons. The Sepratist fighters were winning dogfights simply becuase it was two or three versus one. Now they attacked the weakened Gree ships, poudning their shields relentlessly. As if to solidify the Gree Empire's humiliation a two fleets of ships left hyperspace just behind Gree lines, fresh from a Hyperspace jump from Nal Hutta. This reinforcement group of twenty ships opened fire on the back lines of the Gree Empire, hopeing to destroy their engines and prevent any form of retreat. Now, it was the Gree Empire whom were boxed in. On the surface, things had taken an ugly visage. The Gree had reverted to guerilla tactics, catching Sepratist troopers off guard and massacring them in silence. The Sepratists were highly trained, specialised soldiers though - their lives dedicated to warfare, unlike this milita. Scouts went ahead wearing becons attached to life support moniters inside their armour. They entered the buildings, and allowed themselves to be slain by the Gree forces bnkered down inside. When the monitor went off, the Sepratist tanks would open fire on the building itself. Nathaniel was in one of these tanks. Each shot he fired shook the tank, and the very buildings around them vibrated with the force of each resounding crack. Dust and small rocks seemed to fall onto the tank clanking loudly against the blackened metal. He leant on a lever, arms burning at the strain it took. He pulled the lever down, and stamped on a pedal. The tank shook again as a turbolaser ball struck a nearby building. Dust and rubble exploded everywhere as the buidling collapsed. Nathaniel let out cry of victory and fired more shots into the distance... Elsewhere, Peteri hid in a hollow alcove in some rubble. Balanced precariously on his shoulder was a rocket launcher in which a metal net was stuffed. Before him, a large flying creature swept down and grabbed a Sepratist soldier from a tank turret, dropping from. As the creature dove down again, Peteri shot at it with the net. The heavy metal dragged the creature to the floor in a hump, and Sepratist soldiers surrounded it, firing at it until it lay, blackened and burnt; dead. And so the story went all over Rishi... |

In Space The ion cannon blasted through the ranks of the Sovereign forces, immediately shutting down all power in the ships hit. The remaining forces then immediately opened fire on the ships hit. Using the surprise from the enemy forces, they moved in fast, destroying enemy ships that had lost power. This is where the Gree training would kick in, where the newer technology would help. The Empirical opened direct fire on the ship containing Araehl, bringing a heavy amount of fire on the ship, to much for it to handle. The Gree pilots began to enter code A18. Code A18 was one only used in dire times such as this. Leaving Araehl's ship for destroyed, each remaining capital ship took total fire at the Separatist fleet, while charging at it full throttle. The fighters began to use any adrenalin reserves they may of had, and used their advanced technology to the finest extent available. As if binders were strapped to their faces, they made a promise to each other. That the Empirical would not be forgotten. On Planet The blaster cannon fire connected with many of the transports that had been entering, blowing those hit to smithereens. The cannons quickly were reloaded, and began fire at vehicles coming close to where they were set up. Upon the tank fire being used by separatists within the villages, they quickly adapted, taking charge at the enemies. Explosives all around the forests were set off at random by demolitions experts of the Gree, usually followed by screams of anguish. A rishii flying high above looked down, seeing the death of his fellow brother. It moved down and in, picking up several troops and sending them flying back at Peteri, making them crumple against the wall around him, falling to the ground dead. He donned swords, using the art of Trispzest to go into battle with Peteri. His blade slashed across at him, towards his head, while the other blade lunged forth at his gut. The 2-M repulsor tanks continued fire, ripping through the ranks of enemies. The Gree knew this ground to well, it could take days, maybe weeks to secure a total domination. The capital remained untouched by fire, protected sternly by snipers, ground troops, and saber tanks. They began use of Modified FC-20 speeder bikes, having altered the wiring to allow weapons to be attached to the front. They sped off through the forests, steadily firing upon any troops they saw. |

Ships exploded everywhere as their shields were rendered useless by the Ion Pulse generated from the Gree ships. Flames lapped around the ships as they exploded, spraying debris throughout the battlefield. Either way, the Sepratist fleet still heavily outnumbered the Gree fleet and their ships relentless poudned at them. The few frigates which could be spared circled below the Gree ships firing into their life-supports through their depleted shields. After the use of the Ion Canon, the Gree fleet were easy pickings for the Sepratists. Ahrael rocked in his seat, drink lapping over the brim of his glass as turbolasers rocked his ship. He had the largest ship ni the fleet, the Mon Calarmari cruiser - his personal flag-ship. Concentrated fire was depleteing his shields steadily, and they were already at 66% capacity. He raised a hand and yelled "Fire proton torpedos at the enemy ships. Bring all rail guns to deflect enemy fire." The Cruiser began laucnhing large balls of proton energy at the enemy ships, the modernized weapon tearing through the Gree shields like wet paper bags. The railguns fired at incoming enemy shots, trying to limit the damage done to Ahraels ship. Within moments, the battle of Rishi's space would be over. The ground battle was growing fierce. As predicted, the Gree troops fled their buildings as they collapsed, choosing to rush the Sepratist forces using their feet or modified speeders. Unfortunatly, the collapsed rubble made it hard for speeders to use their speed and they were easily picked off by the hovertanks turrets which ripped apart the tiny speeders. Sepratist troops escorted the tanks, ducking below the rubble and taking shots at the Gree as they tried to rush down the streets towards them. Urban warfare was a Sepratist speciality; and they wouldn't go easy this time, either. Where the Gree may have the most technologically advanced army, and the Sovereign had the largest, the Sepratists had the most fierce. Heavily armoured Sepratist conscripts finally clambered over the rubble roadblock and rushed along allyways to avoid fire. The hovertanks blew apart the roadblock and continued their convey of death through the streets. Ahead, the city centre was protected by tanks, snipers and soldiers alike. The Sepratist forces pushed forwards, surrounding the city center with their huge force. Their tanks fired continuously at any towers where snipers may be located, helping to protect their own troopers. As the transports became less heavily fired upon, the Sepratists dropped a number of Walkers onto the surface. These Walker's trampled through the streets, their huge turrets tearing apart building and enemy vehicle alike. They used their huge proton weapons to literally annihilate any road-blocks that the Gree created. The four Walker's dropped quickly turned the tide of the battle for the Sepratists. Peteri fell dead, easily mauled by the flying beast. Other soldiers had been prepared though, and easily tore the bird from the skies with automatic fire. The creature somersaulted three times before smashing into a semi-collapsed building. All through the streets, sqauards were being assigned especially to capture or snipe these large flying animals from the skies. With the Capital under siege from heavy fire, damage was beginning to be taken. Smoke curled around the city and flames could be seen even from orbit... |

On Planet The M2 Saber tanks quickly took care of the hover tank turrets, easily ripping those hit to shreds. Now was the time for the technology of the empire to be used. Night had now fallen, and darkness was prevailing. The gree, armed with advanced night vision technology quickly used this to their great advantage. In the darkness, they secured outposts around the planet, opening fire to the unsuspecting troops. The bulk of the Separatists was starting to lower, and the Gree were bringing fire to the next level. Armed with advanced blaster rifles for easier precision and a faster reload rate, they were pop locked and ready to rock. Canderous-class assault tanks were now set into battle, using their mass driver cannons to blow apart the adversary, while the concussion missiles would do the work of killing multiple targets at once. A special ops force of troops specially trained for guerrilla warfare took on the roles as commanders. They set up ambushes all around the edge of the capital, anything from trip wires and pitfalls, to using sensors to confirm when and where the foe was. Large logs were set up at the top of hills, and stealth units were deployed into the grass. The Rishii were beginning to lose numbers, but began to work out ideas. What they would do, is fly up to high to be seen, then lunge down, grab a troop, and fly back up. Though it eliminates one troop, it makes it extremely hard to kill the birds. Auto turrets were being set up throughout key areas, programed to recognize enemy from friend, via the shock waves created by the Sepratist footfalls, while gree made absolutely no noise when moving. The stealth units surrounded a large group of separatists, seemingly set up at a small command point. By setting auto blasters around the camp, the gree silently moved back into the forest, using the colour of their clothing (camouflaged) and skin (Green) to stay hidden from them. They watched silently as Blaster fire erupted into the enemies base, creating an almost impossible escape from being hit. The few that did make it to the edge of the camp would be shot by Gree troops. They were back in the fight, and were bringing a punch. Space They knew that they had lost, and acknowledged the defeat in space. The remaining capital ships let out a last line of defense, bringing up a solid line to block them from getting into planetary space. "Execute Option A-thirty four, it is time..." [From this point on is edited, to fit the time, as Darren hasnt replied] From the nearby moons of Gall/Kile, came the ships they were looking for. Coming in from hyperspace, they immediately began to open direct fire upon the already weakened ships. They blasted and smashed, taking down many of the already weakened shields. Fighters are deployed from the newly arrived capital ships, now easily outnumbering the Sepratists. They moved fast, and shot faster. With the advantage of space now handed to the Gree. Now outnumbering the enemy easily, they set up the enemy into the circle formation like the defending fleet had done earlier. This is The Spearhead, now boys, I suggest you pull back your ground troops, and give up your invasion, before we are forced to blow you to smithereens. With the circle formation in play, and now that the gree had the upper hand, this battle would actually become a quick victory. Still keeping the formation, fire continued, as if it was a fire-works display. |

[Feel free to get involved if you want. I don't mind at all.] On the planet the huge Sepratist rush had resulted in a constant tream of wounded warriors. Troops were blown apart across the city; buildings collapsing aorund them and the huge flying beatss attacking them from above. Thoguh they had the Gree boxed in, they were still putting up an adament defence. Traps were being set up; trip-wires which set of bombs taking out entire Sepratist troops within seconds. Commanders and Generals were busy at work trying to organise a mass offensive against the Gree, who wee fortified in the Capital's center. The Gree advanced tanks were tearing through the hovertanks; their automatic fire far superior to that of the Sepratists. That said, the cheapness of the Sepratists arms meant they were easily replaced, compared to the expensive and more scarce M2 type tanks. The Sepratists held there tanks back at a safe range, where the Gree weapons could not attack them. Then, rather than targeting enemy troops they attacked the tallest buildsings in the city. Falling rubble collapsed onto the lines of the Gree, crushing their tanks beneath the weight of the stone and metal. Somewhere west of the city, an entire unit was torn apart by an ambush near the forest. No reinforcements aided them though; the Sepratists wanted to the cities, and they would show that. Tanks on the outskirts of city began firing incedary devices into the forests. The camoflauge previously used by the Gree was now a blazing inferno, and Gree soldiers were forced to burn or leave their hiding places to be torn apart by the Sepratist forces. Elsewhere, Sepratist troops continued moving through the city regardless of lossess. The enemy guerillas were unable to move through the city without encountering holed up Sepratist sniper,s and were easily picked off across the streets. The gree were unable to escape - and with the Sepratists unwavering in their numbers the Gree were in a hard spot. Somewhere in the sewers, a crack-squad of some of the better trained Commandos headed through the tunnel system. The sewers were empty; any maintenance crews had been long since evacuated. Between them they carried a number of crates which they piled up. behind, they could hear the rumble of tanks and the marching of feet. They lit a fuse, and headed back into the tunnels. The explosion roared through the tunnels, and rubble was sprayed upwards into the street. The sewers roof collapsed oinwards created a slope and a hole big enough for the Sepratists to amass from. Hundreds of troops, escorted by tanks rshed out of the sewers... this time, behind enemy lines. Surrounded and caught in a pincer, how would the Gree react? By now, the second onlong ship had opened it doors, bringing the main force. Recruits fresh from Manaan numbered at 30,000 Conscripts. Not yet ffully trained, but adquate for this take over. A swarm of transports headed for the planets surface, covering entire fields in soldiers wearing the black armour of the Sepratists. In space the Gree had been defeated, their last ships obliterated in balls of flame and twisted metal. For a few moments the Sepratists though they were victorious, but that hope was shattered when more Gree fleets arrived. Though the Sepratists still numbered at roughly 90 ships, the Gree forces were fresh and ready for battle. The Sepratists opened fire immediately, their guns smashing into the Gree as they themselves took damaged. The more weakened Sepratist ships exploded under the barrage of fire, engulfing other ships in flame. Lossess became frequent. The Nal Hutta unit of twenty ships opened fire on the flank of the Gree, trying to pressure them into dividing their firepower. They too were fresh; but their ships were not equipped with the weapons that the Gree had. They relied on greater tactics; they had never yet needed firepower. On that thought, the ship the Nal Hutta fleet had been escorting arrived. The newly built Space Station was huge; nearly three times the size of the Sepratist flag ship. It had a central orb with a ring around it. It opened fire with its huge rail guns immediately, tearing into the back of the Gree fleet. Its weapons were as advanced as any gree ship, and its sheer size allowed it too have hundreds of turbolasers all of its hull. A few proton rockets opened up, slamming into the Gree forces.... Any Gree General whom thought the Sepratists were easy picking,s should have spoken with the Sovereign first. |

Speak of the devil. Without warning two fleets of the brand new Sovereign-class cruisers flew out of hyperspace, coming to an immediate halt before the battle. One of the massive cruisers stopped directly into a Seperatist vessel, destroying it but remaining unscathed itself due it's sheer size. From the massive amount of turbolaser batteries on the sixty Sovereign cruisers came wave upon wave of blue bolts, slamming into the hulls and shields of both the Seperatist and Gree ships. This was now a three-way fight. The hangars opened and out flew scores of Sovereign fighters from each cruiser, performing impressive manouevres before engaging with the fighters of both sides; they outnumbered the Gree vessels almost five to one, and the Seperatists approximately three to one. The constant fire from the Sovereign cruisers continued mercilessly upon the fleets around Rishi - all of which were caught off guard from the sudden arrival of two fleets. |

In space The Gree, noticing this, and then seeing the insignia of the Sovereign hegemony realized that they were in trouble. Now being attacked by Sovereign AND separatist forces, they decided that instead of wasting their ships, they would pull back, allowing the other two to blow each other apart. They quickly took a hyperspace jump to the Zhar system, entering a total blockade of Gall and Kile. On planet Upon the destruction of the sewers and the coming of enemy forces, Gree forces decided it was time to show the separatists what they were made of. Demolition squads quickly moved throughout the block that the sepratists had emerged from. They decided doing something that was rash, but could win them the fight. Far below, even beneath the sewers, demolition experts were placing explosives along the walls and ceiling. Moving out of the sewer, they set off the explosion. The metals were blasted up, into the tunnels the separatists were coming from. The whole area of the sewer completely collapsed, crushing anybody in it, while the Gree demolition snuck off. From above, the Gree used the surprise of the tunnel exploding behind the separatists as a chance of attack. From across the city, at the other battle, it appeared to Sepratists as if the Gree had totally left the area. In reality, they were in waiting at building windows, waiting for their enemies to pass by into the city. As they did, they launched a surprise attack, blaster fire ripping down into the units of the enemy. They called in many of the remaining tanks to begin blasting of the ground near the sepratists. Among these men, was Commander H'ji'big, who aided in the destruction. Soon, the ground below and around the sepratists was blown to bits, the ground might give away into the catacombs below any minute. surrounding them on the high ground, the troops had evacuated the buildings, firing on the confused enemies. |

Some of the Sovereign cruisers, noting the Gree vessels were going into hyperspace positions, directed their aim for their engines, firing repeatedly towards them. It was a known fact of space warfare that you shouldn't go into hyperspace while under fire, because if you were hit the results would be disasterous. Obviously nobody had told that to the Gree.. One of the fleeing Gree ships was hit just as the fleet entered hyperspace, multiplying the explosion tenfold and sending it into the wormhole; as the Gree vessels came out of hyperspace around Zhar, the explosion, which had travelled with them on their journey, ripped through the rest of the ships, leaving devastation. Now the Sovereign fleets turned their aim on the Seperatists with their full concentration and power, firing repeatedly on the main systems to clear the orbit around Rishi and gain complete control of the space. |

Upon the Gree ship that had been shot returning, the fleet knew they HAD to stop it from hitting the main bulk of ships. The bulk of the group took total fire over the ship approaching, destroying it BEFORE it could do too much damage. Though casualties had occurred, The Gree would return before long. |

[Two can play that game Omid... :D] The Sepratist fleet was struck in the side by thwe sudden emergeance of the Sovereign fleet. Ships exploded, their hulls ruptured by the firepower of the larger Sovereign fleet. Entire ships exploded, hundreds of men dying every second as bolts tore through the ships, wrenching metal and destroying the systems. Seven ships were lost in the first thrity seconds, and another three when the Sepratists began to return fire. Ahrael looked on through the window of the bridge at the large Sovereign fleet ahead of him. He spoke calmly. "Members of the Sepratist Consortium. Do not let this cowardly attack strike fear into your hearts; we have been outnumbered many times before. Do not think of these as the wolves come for an unruly sheep, but as the opposite. We are the wolves, men..." he paused, mind drifitng as he waffled on, half-cut. "Space Station 1B launch all fire onto the engines of the Sovereign fleets. Include as many proton torpedos as you have remaining on board. Frigates move around to attack the flanks of the Sovereign fleet. We will surround them, and crush them like a bug in our vice-like grip!" he shouted, slamming a hand on the desk. The fleet dis as instructed. The small, speedy frigates quickly moved themselves to the flanks of the Sovereign fleet, using their small railguns to drain away their power and distract attention. The large Space Station drifted slowly along, its heavy armaments a real threat to the Sovereign fleet. Other than that, the handful of Destroyers left were to take the Sovereign head on, with Ahrael's flag-ship at their front. On the surface, the Sepratists had stormed out of their tunnel and into the streets. A few hundred of the Sepratists were able to storm buidlings in the city center, takign up positions and firing on the Gree from cover. Trapped, the Gree front line was massacred between the Sepratist forces. Somehow, the Gree managed to collapse the sewer, blocking the rest of the Sepratist forces from advancing in the same way. It mattered little though; the Sepratist commanders knew the battle was one. The gree's defences had been breached, now all they had to do was clear up the mess. Sepratist crack-squads still lingered in the buildings, and each time the Gree maanged to infiltrate one and ambush the Sepratists from behind they were quickly dealt with. Their limp bodies were thrown out of the windows they shot from as a message; any Gree caught now would be shown no mercy. Sepratists dragged women from their homes and assaulted them in the streets; they gloated and shouted, intimidating all who saw. Some parts of the city became s unstable that the roads began to fall through, but the Sepratists were everywhere, and no matter how many lossess they received they seemed to advance, relentless torretns of soldiers ready to murder. Gree soldiers were overwhelmed, the turrets unable to mow down the soldiers whom rushed their positions. Gree soldiers were now being beaten to death, strangled and stabbed as Sepratist soldiers covered their positions. Conscripts were swarming the streets, creeping through buildings - completely covering every inch of ground they could with sheer capacity. The Gree were determined fighters - the Sepratists respected that, greatly. But they would not let these men have any dignity, no victory would be achieved for them. Sepratists dragged haf-dead Gree soldiers naked through the streets, parading their shame for all Gree to see. Any soldiers still left amoungst the massess of of Sepratists were too frightened to shoot - and if they weren't? They were quickly picked off by snipers or tanks. Fires ravaged the forests; buildsings crumbled from the battles. Blood flowed through then streets as water through a river and the people sat in their homes, afraid they would never see another sun rise. The night was dark, ominous. The newly landed Sepratist forces marched into the dominated outskirts, setting up small camps and fortified positions. Turrets were set up, and bunkers were dug with as much haste as could be mustered. The gree would have to surrender, or try and fight impssible odds... |

Captain Rorus Falkon onboard the flagship of the Sovereign fleets noticed the Seperatist fleet movements; he anticipated they would try and surround the cruisers and leave them trapped in. Four of the massive Sovereign cruisers were ordered to move about to meet the small frigates head on, while half of the entire fleet, thirty cruisers, faced to fire upon the approaching spacestation. The remaining vessels continued engaging the bulk of the Seperatist cruisers and Admiral Ahrael's flagship. Captain Falkon watched through the bridge of his cruiser.. it seemed as if he was staring directly across space and into the eyes of Ahrael.. and, as if he was resonating the position of his fleet, Rorus held the enemy's gaze; then, suddenly, he lurched forward as if to attack the Seperatists with his mind. This was the order the crew needed - the Sovereign cruisers jumped forward while firing continuously, as if on a collision course with the enemy. The frigates that had hoped to destroy the Sovereign cruisers from the side were now faced with the gargantuan bulk of the new vessels. The small Seperatist ships were no match for the superiorly sized and armed Sovereign cruisers which were now unleashing round upon round of turbolaser fire; they would surely be defeated within a matter of minutes, perhaps even less. The majority of the Sovereign cruisers met with the spacestation that was drawing ever closer - the two sides, both massive tons of metal, exchanged torrents of fire, but the Sovereign side had the upper hand. Unlike the spacestation, the cruisers could split up and take the station on from all sides, and that's exactly what they did. The cruisers, some taking the right side and some taking the left, constantly firing, moved with all their engines blazing and soon after surrounded the Seperatist machine. Captain Falkon smiled. Years of tactical and naval training would pay off against the uneducated brutes of the Seperatist Consortium. He would not be made a fool of. |

[Darren all civilians were evacuated before you landed by the way] Gree forces knew that the sepratists had the upper hand, and so they decided it was time for the 'big boom.' As the Separatist forces began domination on the topside, everything below was different. All throughout the battle, the Gree knew they would lose, so many troops had been moved under the city, into parts of the catacombs most didn't know exist. The supports of many buildings reached down into here, and if they were blown up, they could cause a mass destruction of the above surface. And so that's what they would do. By careful setting of explosives, the remaining Gree sat multiple explosives, strategically placed underneath the highest buildings in the city, knowing that this would make a domino effect. The remaining M-2 tanks continued firing from above. From outside the capital, Gree troops still remained stationed in other cities, keeping up the fight. Those underground fled into the main city, to most probably be slaughtered by enemy forces. Then, the explosions began. Building upon building fell from the carefully placed explosives beneath, crushing forces all below. As the domino ripple effect spread throughout the city, forces from the outside rendezvous to the city outskirts, taking fire upon those who would escape. The remainder of the stealth unit had begun the setting of pit-fall traps at the most popular city escape routes, silently watching all they had worked to protect crumble before them. Many streets blew open from the impact, causing rubble and troops alike to be thrown into the catacombs, destroying them for good. With the sewer blocked off, any remaining troops stationed outside, with pitfalls to stop those coming. Forces used the trees and bushes for cover, armed with slug throwers and sniper rifles. [Right, by using a domino ripple effect, knocking one building into the next, and by carefully placed explosives in the catacombs, the idea is to kill as much as you guys as i possibly can x)] |

The fifty modified Sith Warships entered hyperspace heading towards their destination, the planet of Rishi, the armada under the command of the Grand Admiral Tyan, the lines contorted around the ships as they disappeared from view from the planet Roon. The armada of ships came out of hyperspace in a flash of brilliant light, and immediently fell into their standard formation, a long picket line of the ships formed up, with one ship on top of another, forming a wall of Sith Warships near the moon of the planet twenty five ships long. Grand Admiral Tyan another one of King Lionhearts long standing servants, who stood at roughly 5ft 9 and was a native chiss, he held an outlook and behaviour that well suited that of the King, sent hails of communications to the three factions warring above the planet and upon it. |

On planet, the remaining gree troops took of heavier fire into the remains of the city, killing anybody who had somehow survived from the blast. They quickly moved throughout it, forming a military garrison in the remainders. Still many of the native rishii remained, their plucking strategy had worked well. Remaining separatist troops were stationed all throughout the planets plains, almost unaware of the capitals part-explosion other then loss of contact with troops. The remaining members of the on-planet group used the remaining parts of the city as garrisons, using the basement levels of the planet, as bomb shelters. all they could do now is wait. |

On the planet, the Sepratists had all but won the planet, save for the underground garrisons of Gree troops hidden beneath the cities. Parades marched through the streets of any cities conquered, the Sepratists fearless despite the possibility of more Gree ambushes. Tanks thundered down the streets, turrets pointing at the many windows along the buildings. Troops followed alongside and ahead of them; marching through street, building and sewer alike to flush out any gree forces that remained. In the Capital, a huge blow had been dealt to the Sepratist troops. Many had died, hundreds most likely. The city, now in ruins was bordered by the Sepratist reinforcements, whom watched the buildings explode and the city crumble before them. Orders were given for the Sepratists not to enter, and the city was left to waste - abandoned. In space, the Sepratists were in the midst of a thunderous battle with the Sovereign forces. Surrounded, out-numbered and under-powered the Sepratist fleet was using desperate kamikazee tactics against the enemy. Even so, for every ship they destroyed they lost two of their own. Casualities were running high. |
