Note: This is Robert's players, bringing in my second character. Real Name: Molly Hayes Codename: Princess Powerful Gender: Female Age: Eleven Affiliation: X-Men Power: She can activate super-strength at will. Weakness: Her powers drain her energy tremendously, and if she uses her powers to her limit, she'll eventually fall asleep (the first time she used them, she crashed immediately afterwards). Personality: At first glance, Molly looks like a typical cheerful little girl, who still uses some childish words like “owie”, likes sugary cereals, and wears cute hats. However, there is a side of her that doesn't always come out, that is much more mature and understands far more than people think. Her parents sat she does this to lower people's defenses, and it seems to work. Even in situations where she has little to no reason keep the childish act, she still acts like a typical child in some fashion, making it hard to understand just how much of it is genuine, and how much is an act. Other than that, Molly is also a very understanding and prejudice-free girl. As long as you're not actively hurting someone that doesn't have it coming (or has glands), chances are, she'll have no problem with you, whether you're a mutant, alien or human. Winning back her trust after losing it can be a challenge though, especially if you're an adult. Physical Description: For all intents and purposes, Molly looks like a regular girl her age, with brown hair, eyes and tan skin. She usually wears things typical of her age, such as jeans, sneakers, and t-shirts. She also always wears a hat, sometimes with animal motifs. When she's activating her powers, her eyes glow purple. History: Molly's life was pretty normal for the first eleven years of her life. A daughter of wealthy parents, the biggest care in her world was the yearly visits to the Wilders, a family hers was friendly with. Every year, her parents would gather with parents of other kids, who she'd be left with while the parents would supposedly organize charity donations. One day, when she was eleven, something weird started to happen to her. She'd feel weird, and her nose would start bleeding. She tried to ask her parents about it, but they dismissed her, thinking she meant her period. They'd talk about it after the visit to the Wilders, they said. But the visit to the Wilders wouldn't be like the others. This time, Alex, the Wilders' son, suggested that they explore the house's secret passages. As they did, they saw their parents at their meeting. Only, instead they were all wearing weird costumes. And there was a girl their age with them. And Alex's father pulled a knife. And that's all Molly say, because Alex told one of the older kids to get her away from there. Once they returned, upset and disturbed, they had her go away again, by another one of the older kids. After that, she was sent home with her parents, without being enlightened on what had just happened. Suddenly, early next day, she woke up to Nico, one of the older kids that meet at the Wilders', knocking her mother out. Understandably, she was upset, and demanded to know what was going on, especially as more of the them started to come to her room with a dinosaur in tow. That was when people finally realized that she wasn't worried about her period, for that was when her powers manifested, resulting in her eyes glowing purple and blood coming out of her nose. Suddenly Karolina's (another kid that she met yearly) mother blasted a hole through her bedroom's wall, and said she'd kill her friends. Molly lashed out and pushed Karolina's other away, sending her off halfway across the house's yard to the pool. She promptly fell asleep again after that, and woke up in a van with the other kids, where she was finally told what was going on: their parents were super-villains, members of a group called The Pride. At first she didn't believe them, but once they turned on the radio and heard an announcement saying that they were now wanted for kidnapping her and for killing the girl they saw with their parents, as well that the Police and media were under the Pride's control, she willingly went with them. Sometime after they went into hiding, they had a run-in with a robbery at a store, where by the end of it, the older kids brought back another kid their age called Topher. Sadly, shortly after Topher had an encounter with the dinosaur, from which Molly saved him, she fell asleep, and by the time she was up, Topher was gone. Once again, she had to be filled in by everyone else (cliff notes version: Topher was a vampire and tried to kill them all). A few more days later, they run into two unexpected foes: the super-heroes Cloak and Dagger, who had been called by the Police to look for Molly and the others. After a misunderstanding that lead to Molly ripping Cloak's... cloak off and trapping most of her friends in an alternate dimension. Dagger managed to fix it however, and everyone is saved. The mess was cleared up, and Cloack and Dagger promised to call the Avengers to help clear their parent's mess up. But that never happened. The kid waited and waited, and the only things that happened was them learning the origins of the Pride and their goal of destroying the current world and rebuilding it thanks to a book they stole from their parents, and LAPD suddenly appearing and trying to arrest them. They managed to escape, but a new shadow loomed over them: the cop said that there was a mole among them that ratted them out. After a brief period of paranoia and accusations, from which Molly was absent due to being asleep after literally digging their way out, they decide to end things once and for all. Thanks to the book, they learn that their parents meet the monsters that allowed them become the Pride in an underwater lair, and will offer the soul of the girl they killed. On arrival, and after an initial fight with their parents, Molly ends up knocked out. While she's out, Alex was revealed to be mole, but the tables were once again turned, and after regaining consciousness, Molly destroyed the container of the girl's soul, putting a stop to the Pride's goal, and angering the monsters, who killed Alex and their parents. When the kids made their way back to the surface they were greeted by Captain America. And after that, they were sent to foster care, which in Molly's case, meant Xavier's institute, due to her being a mutant. Edited by Princess Powerful, Feb 24 2011, 10:44 PM.
