The staff is going to make a serious effort to update the infobox more often, so keep an eye out. Newer updates will always be closer to the top, but probably below this one.

New Stuff Around the Site
Aaaaand it's time for our revival, for the billionth time. Oh, how we are a stubborn board that refuses to die. The Cbox is looking prettier than ever with rules next to them now, and there will be more new stuff to come. Also, because of this, the Cbox rules will no longer be part of the General rules.

Canon Characters
There are plenty of canon characters still up for grabs, so head on over to the character list to see which ones are available. If you find a character that you're interested in playing, leave a post in the Character Request thread to get started. We're looking for new members, and everyone here is super friendly, so take a look around (guests can view almost all the forums here) and leave a comment in the Guestbook if you have any questions or want to introduce yourself.

Welcome to Speed demon's X-men Evo RPG.

This is a written RPG based off of X-men: Evolution. We're always looking for new characters, so check out the character list (under the Characters section) or PM the admin if you have questions. If you are interested in playing OC characters, please visit SD's OC X-men Board (accessed through the button in the top left corner of the site).

You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. This means you are limited to certain areas of the board and there are some features you can't use. If you'd like to join the RPG, you will be able to roleplay as you own characters.

Thank god for Saturday, mused Shay to herself as she sat on the floor with her back up against the old tatterd couch with a book propped up on her knee. It was a fairly nice day out, though she could see a few dark clouds beginning to move in and mix with the light blue sky. She gave a soft sigh before glancing around the room at a few other members that were scattered on various pieces of furnature or lounging around. It seemed she wasn't the only one who was grateful for the weekened.

She turned her attention once more, faintly overhearing a conversation about boredom and the need for something fun to do when a voice from the doorway caught her attention: "What are you doing on the floor, Shay?"

She blinked, looking up once more from her book to glance at whoever it was that had spoken.

Pietro stood in the doorway, looking as arrogant as ever. Some things never changed. Pietro could only see her back, and not the book she was reading. From his place in the doorway, he stood up on his toes, trying to see over her head at what she was holding.

"Well, what are you doing?" he asked a bit more impatiently.

"Hey," greeted Shay, a small smile gracing her lips; one that she reserved specifically for Pietro. "Just reading...there really isn't much else to do around here."

She slowly stood up, placing her book on the table with a light shrug. "What about you? Have any plans for today?"

She knew he didn't like to stay in one place for too long and probably would want to go out for a run or something instead of just hanging around home. She did miss him sometimes, mainly on those days where he was gone for almost the whole day (both Saturday and Sunday). Though at the same time...she wouldn't want it any other way, since she knew how big running was in his life.

"Nope." Pietro responded quickly. "If I did, I wouldn't be standing around in this dump we call home." he added as an afterthought. He smirked at her. It wasn't one of his usual arrogant smirks though. More like a sexy half-smile.

"Why? Did you have something in mind?"

Shay gave a light shrug before flopping down on the couch with a soft sigh of boredom, though the smile never left her face.

"Unfortunately, no. Hell, even reading seems boring to me."

A playful look falshed across her eyes, for she was always (teasingly of course) nagging on the other members to actually try reading instead of turning for the TV for entertainment. For her to even say that it'd lost its spark of adventure was certainly not something that happened everyday.

"I'd actually thought about getting out for a while later on or something...or maybe finally attempting to lay around all day and eat junk food and watch TV as I've been told to various times by various people." She said the last bit louder so that the other members in the room could hear, her tone very teasing.

She turned her attention back to Pietro, a light questioning look in her gaze to see if anything had suddenly sprung to mind; proping herself up over the back of the couch.

"Oh god! Reading has finally become boring! The world must be ending..." Pietro groaned sarcastically. Reading was something that had never really interested him much. Too much sitting around and not moving, according to Pietro. Also, reading reminded him too much of school, which wasn't one of Pietro's favorite things.

Pietro sighed. "Getting out wouldn't even be good enough for me. I'm really bored. I need to go trash something, cause havoc. Maybe kick the X-geeks' asses for a change."

Shay gave a light shake of her head, though looked almost thoughtful. It had been a really long time since they'd fought the X-Men...and it would be something to do. Of course there was the problem of actually getting to them and finding out whether they were all hanging out at the institute or if they'd gone out for the day.

In the end she gave a light shrug, "Do you know where the X-geeks are? I'm up for a fight if you can find them."

She glanced around at the others. "And I have a feeling they wouldn't object either." She could tell that they were just as bored as Pietro and herself.

"Or if you have another means of causing havoc, be my guest. Personally trashing Kelly's place sounds fun...I heard he finally replaced that window of his," she said with a smirk.

Pietro looked thoughtful for a moment before he sighed again. "Nah." he said, the bored look on his face seemed to radiate boredness so that if was almost as if others could feel the boredness themselves. Pietro suddened smirked.

"But I do have another idea. How about that party that Antony suggested a while ago. Then we could invite the X-men, and even start up a fight with them if we wanted. If they accept, that is." Pietro smirk shifted into a grin.

"But then again, who could resist one of our parties. We always have the best parties...next to Duncan Matthews of course, but that's not surprising since he has that big huge house."

"Go for it," said Shay with a light shrug. She really wasn't so sure about inviting the X-Men here...after all, the house was barely standing as it was (:P). But still...she figured that since the guys wanted to so much, she'd always be able to repair whatever got damaged afterwads. "Did you want me to run to the store for anything?"

"Hmm...chips and other food, drinks...nothing alcoholic! The X-geeks are freaky enough as it is. I don't even wanna know what they're like when they're drunk." Pietro said with his trademark smirk. "Nah, changed my mind. Alcohol would be just fine. Just make sure you get some pop too, in case the little kiddies are too scared to drink."

Pietro counted off a few things on his fingers, making sure he wasn't forgetting anything. "We've got enough music, right?"

"Nope. Thanks." Pietro stopped her in the doorway, slipping his arms around her waist and kissed her as if he hadn't seen her in a week or something. He grinned, his eyes shining. "I think I'll go invite the X-men personally. After all, it'll only take me a second to get there."

Shay was surprised by the sudden arms around her waist and the kiss, though pleasently so as she returned it full-heartedly.

"You know I could never say no to you guys," she said playfully as she pulled back, her eyes bright. "Oh and try not to taunt the X-geeks _too_ badly...save that for the party where you'll have home field advantage." She smirked, turning to grab her coat but decided against it at the last minute, figuring it couldn't be that cold out.

"I'll be back in a little bit...you think Lance would mind if I barrowed his jeep?" She glanced at the keys which had been tossed lazily onto the end table.

"Nah, go ahead." Pietro said, glancing over at the keys.

"And don't worry, you got it. I'll wait until I have the home advantage." Pietro said with a smile.

Shay walked over and picked up the keys before smirking at Pietro, "Alright...have fun." She gently leaned up to give him a light kiss on the lips before heading out the door towards the jeep.
