I can't remember the names of the hunters, but there is one specifically that is pretty close to being broken.

I played a lot of Wi-Fi matches in this game. It's been a while now since I last played. But, pretty much what it was, if you play automatches, you find lots of people that resort to cheap tactics of some form or another. Often you get people who spam with the sniper laser thing, and other times you get people who spam the alt form for their hunter.
Almost all of the hunters had things about them that could be considered overpowered and were often abused. Trace, of course, would often just sort of camp and snipe, since he can turn invisible. Noxus, people figured out the shadow freezing technique. Sylux, the bomb trap thing was pretty overpowered. Samus was relatively fair, since she didn't really have such a specific power, as far as I recall. Kanden and the rock guy (forgot his name) felt balanced. That turret warrior guy could be kinda cheap too. Most of the times, I would just play with online friends, but I had a few that would also tend toward cheap methods. It could be alright, though, if you and your friends could agree on what is cheap and should not be done. Most online games can be kinda cheap and frustrating though, really. |

I guess I could probably start a list of games completed this year, with Final Fantasy VIII.

Well, I've beaten Red on HeartGold. Does that count as 'completing' it?

Holy cow, Timnis. First game of the year? Admittedly, I focus a lot more on completing games now than I did a few years ago. Also Fanta, yeah, I think that's what people consider the end? That makes sense, at least. Edited by Golem, May 27 2010, 09:36 PM.

Yes, that's the first game I've beaten this year, except for yet another run through Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4's career mode, but I figure I've done that at least one time before, and even if I hadn't, that's not really the kind of game you play to beat anyway. I haven't really focused on any game until summer break started. I started FFVIII about a month ago or so, finished today, though without a lot of side quests and getting and doing every possible thing in the game. I got Infamous early in the year. Maybe I'll play through that next. |

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004! I finally landed an airplane at an airport! ...I missed the runway and sorta landed in the grass in between runways, yes. But I got my passengers from Scranton to Binghamton alive! |

I beat Wizards and Warriors with a friend over the weekend. It's an NES game from Rare, and it kind of plays like Metroid, but it has stages instead of one big world. It's kind of a fun game, though mostly because you're more or less invincible--there's no penalty for dying or continuing, and you have infinite continues. You have everything you had when you died, and you start back up right where you died. The bosses aren't fun but they are pretty unique which is neat. Also, there's no music in the game that's anywhere near as good as the title screen music. Edited by Golem, Oct 10 2010, 06:55 AM.
