So what games are you playing at the moment?

I just started Master Quest on Ocarina of Time 3D. I've already died 4 times in the Deku Tree and I haven't even made it up to the boss yet. ;_;

It's hard to imagine a Zelda title being that hard. One of these days I should pick up Master Quest on Gamecube.

I've been spending a lot of time with the Turbografx Bonk titles lately. Right now I'm focusing on Bonk's Revenge. It's considered the best Bonk title for a reason. 8)

I'm mainly playing Silent Hill 2 and Grand Theft Auto 3.

GTA3 is one of the best 'pick up and play' games ever. Actually, it is kinda one of the best games period. The same could be said about the ps2 trilogy and GTA4, I guess.

I just beat Chameleon Twist on my live stream.

The last two stages are a pain in the ass. Wacky platforming at its worst.

Other than that, it's mostly been Mortal Kombat on the PS3 and Kameo on the Xbox 360.

Yeah and the whole mirror thing makes it really hard to navigate as well.

Anyway, up to Dorongo Cavern or whatever it's called. First room and I'm already completely stumped. THE BOMB FLOWER DOESN'T GO FAR ENOUGH, I TELLZ YAH!

Mostly PS2 stuff. I finished Okami a little while ago which was fantastic. It's probably the most gorgeous game I've ever played. Though it's not very challenging and it's incredibly long, especially for a non-RPG. My playthough lasted 55 hours and I didn't even do everything there is to do. I kinda wish it was longer actually. Probably in my top 5 PS2 games.

Then I picked up some cheap stuff from the flea market. Onimusha, Devil May Cry, and Dark Cloud 2 for $2 each. I already finished Onimusha, which was like 6 hours long. It was kinda okay. The controls are awkward (d-pad for movement what) and it was kind of frustrating at times. Not really recommended. Though I'm still curious about the rest of the series.

I'm playing DMC on easy because I can't even handle Normal. Though easy is a bit too easy. Hrm.

Saving Dark Cloud 2 for last because it's just going to take forever.

The problem with DMC's easy mode is that it doesn't do anything to teach you how to play the game well. The game will automatically perform combos for you--all you have to do is hammer away at circle--so you don't learn anything about the combat. It's like playing Tatsunoko vs. Capcom with just the Wii remote.

DMC in general though is just a jerk. I've been struggling through it since 2009.

He's not that hard if you know what to do. You have to jump up in the air and shoot him with your guns.

no, shoot him with your sword!

Speaking of PS2, I returned to Sly 3 last night and finished off the third episode. I kinda can't wait to be done with Sly 2. It's alright, but 1 was awesome, and I hear 3 is the bomb.

Up to the Water Temple in OoT3D MQ. I found a way to skip, like, half of the Fire Temple which I found a little humourous. Dodongo's Cavern was a nightmare but Jabu Jabu and Forest Temple were reasonably easy to get through.

So I've been all over the place with games lately.

Master Quest - just reached the Fire Temple. The Forest Temple was kinda hard, IMO. My favorite part so far is definitely the cow switches in Jabu Jabu's Belly.

Sly 3 - finished it and really did not enjoy it.

Jak & Daxter - finished it and really enjoyed it. I was surprised by how fun it turned out to be. A gratifying platformer in the vein of Super Mario 64.

God of War - started it last night. So far it's super duper accessible and easy on Normal difficulty, which is a nice change of pace from Devil May Cry. Can't wait to see more of it.

Still finishing up Master Quest 3D. Just finished the Shadow Temple. I'm also occasionally playing Brawl, MKW, and Minecraft with friends.

After I beat Master Quest I'm going to need to get another game for my train rides. At the moment I'm thinking I'll get either "The World Ends With You" or "Ghost Trick".
