This sounds really fun. Make this a good game, Sega.

Though uh, your picture has a good point. I don't know if they could make it any less cool.

I love the Eggman poster, BTW.

Hey Sonic. You're too slooo~ow! Mario's already had two space adventures, and I doubt Sonic's is going to be even half as good as either. XD

"Colors"? That's possibly the worst name ever. I bet they won't even chuck a 'u' in there for the non-US, English-speaking world.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is looking alright though. This... not so much.

A wise quote from someone at Facebook:

"Yes, because judging a game based on 21 seconds of non-gameplay footage is totally grounds for cursing out a company."

And judging a game from a over a decade of garbage is not grounds for cursing out a company. :th^:

Yeah, but still doesn't mean you should totally say, "this game suxxorz lolz!!11"

Because, honestly, I'm incredibly tired of hearing people say a Sonic game sucks before it even has gameplay released. It's retarded.

That's better than people praising the games before the fact, given the company's track record, and even just the concept of Sonic to begin with.

Actually, you're wrong.

I would rather hear people praise it then bitch about it. When people bitch about it, it really gets on my nerves.

And also, are you saying that people who even like the concept of Sonic are stupid? Well okay, I guess I'm an idiot and I guess 90% of the board are idiots too.

Actually, last time I checked, England gave the rights to the English language to the US when we whooped their asses in the War of 1812.

Crystal I agree with you, but chill. Don't let people's opinions bother you.

No, you got me all wrong there. Of course you'd rather hear people praise it, you're a Sonic fan. As far as that goes, it shouldn't be any other way. It's also supposed to get on your nerves when people complain about it (although that's not so healthy, it should probably be toned down a bit). All I'm saying is that Sega's put out a bunch of poor games under the Sonic franchise lately, and in the eyes of the public, they're in a position of needing to redeem themselves and their franchise. If they'd just come off a string of classic games, then the majority of people would probably be all amped up for a new Sonic game. And no, I'm not saying people who like the concept of Sonic are stupid. I'm saying, the whole idea of it was one that would be quite difficult to find a proper balance, and Golem could probably attest to that and explain it better than I could. Anyone who's objective will be a bit unsure about a game with ideals that may be treading on shaky ground.

Good job misreading. I said chuck a 'u' in for the English speakers who aren't American.

...oh right, it's American so it must be universally accepted.

That's Right. American spelling is the only way to spell. No unnecessary vowels or mixed up letters for no reason. This is why non-native English speakers use the American spellings: Because it's proper.

We haven't seen crap about this game yet, No one should be making judgments until after we see more than a cut scene. Yes, precedent would suggest that it will be bad, but the game should be judged on its own merits.

As an American, I can only hope that was meant to be taken facetiously.

On topic, it's true that the game hasn't been released yet, but I think it's perfectly legitmite for me and Sonic fans alike to question and/or raise high doubt as to the game's quality. Given the track record, as Timnis pointed out, it's not the least bit unreasonable or uncalled for anyone to grimace and scorn the announcement of another inevitably awful installment ESPECIALLY one with a fairly uncool title like "Sonic Colors."

Could it be good? Of course it could be, but I'd rather complain about it and be proven wrong than praise some dopey preview as if they've earned that.
