I really don't care for the pidgeon, but like all the others.

Gear is so awesome. Totally using one. Shimama, too just hope he evolves..

Mun'na is based on a sea elephant, I'm almost positive. Freaky how something someone said 15 years ago became a Pokemon. Guess they really did create a bunch of Pokemon for the first Generation that they didn't use.

Hihidaruma is clever. Hihi means Baboon, hidaruma means to be on fire all over, and Daruma are these weird things that are popular in China.

Seems that Isshu is far away, just not far away enough for black people.

Okay, so, I've been away a while. There are a lot of new Pokemon... I'm just... going to give you a link.

http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon.shtml

Summary of my thoughts:

Tsutakeku - fairly basic evolution for Tsutaja.
Rakonosuke - Oh awesome. Wotter got a badass evolution. Samurai otter? Yes!
Koromori - Honduran White Bat. I love this thing. I'm really considering using one my first play-through just because I like the cut of its jib.
Kibago - This seems to be the prevolution of this game's Psuedo Legendary. I rather like the look of its evolution. This one doesn't sway me one way or the other.
Moguryu - Cute little mole Pokemon. Do wonder what its type is.
Ononokusu - This looks like it's the psuedolegendary. is it a frilled lizard or a bearded dragon? Whatever, it's badass. Steel/Dragon, maybe?
Doryuuzu - Oh I love this thing. I think I'd like to use it on my play-through.
Desukan - a sarcophagus Pokemon? That's so cool. I'm definitely going to raise a Tutancoffn, especially if it's Ghost/Steel.
Denchura - Teslantula here is probably bug and electric judging by its name (Denki = Electricity + Tarantla). Looks like an Ariados evolution, hell yes. It deserves one.
Gochiruzeru - This Gothic Lolita Pokemon is kind of cool, but it looks like it's a scout. It has the ability Frisk, and that makes me uncomfortable.
Rankurusu - The Chaos Homunculus Pokemon. It's really neat. It gets Magic Guard, the best ability in the game, and a new one called Dust Proof, that prevents weather effects: Something already covered by Magic Guard. That sucks, now half of them will suck.
Gigaiasu - Chromastone here is cool looking. I don't know what its type is, but it looks similar to Nosepass, so maybe that Rock/Electric evolution we were denied.
Hatooboo - a Bird Pokemon. Maybe an evolution of that Pidgeon.
Minezumi - Something like a chipmunk and a meerkat. your beginning rodent, possibly.
Bikutini - Power Puff Thing - looks cute, I guess. Very interesting, in that it's number 0 in the regional Pokedex. Wonder what it's national number is?
Wargle - AMERICA @#$% YEAH. Though maybe we'll get a better name. I definitely want one.
Musharna - This Pokemon is important because you need one to play the computer areas of the game. Seriously. You can upload your save file to the internet and play. It's really really cool. You get old Pokemon not found anywhere else here. So you don't have to buy the old games if you don't have them.
Mamanbo - what appears to be the evolution of Luvdisc. I'm really excited about this, because I love evolutions of once useless Pokemon.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghL3eTDEBeM&feature=player_embedded

•0:31 - There is a new black trainer named Aloe.
•0:40 - Team Plasma revealed!
•1:14 - Shows an apparent in-game map of Isshu with 16 locations.
•1:22 - Through the C Gear, a player uses two “Power +” to help a nearby player presumably regain their Pokemon’s HP.
•1:38 - One of the first missions you can receive from the High Link is called “Item Mission” and requires you to hide an Ultra Ball in front of the “Tower of Heaven” on Route 7. You have a 180 second time limit and if someone talks to you, the mission restarts. The prize for the mission is three “Derudama.”
•2:11 - The new swan / stork Pokemon is revealed in clip art for “Pokemon Musical,” a new way to use Pokemon that is apparently a replacement of Pokemon Contests. You can dress up Pokemon and then make them dance to music.
•2:36 - Small glimpse of the new deer Pokemon, Shikijika, in the Pokemon Musical.
•3:16 - Shikijika revealed in full!
•3:23 - There is a triple battle mode where you can control the position of the Pokemon in the center of your attacking three Pokemon. You can move it to the left or right instantly, meaning you can constantly switch your Pokemon around during battle. Since your Pokemon on the left cannot attack your opponent’s Pokemon on the right and your Pokemon on the left can’t attack your opponent’s Pokemon on the right, and since the Pokemon in the middle always does the most damage to your opponent’s Pokemon, this new mode will obviously lead to more complex strategies and a more dynamic battling experience.
•4:01 - Pokemon Dream World in action.
•4:20 - Meeting Pikachu in the Dream World, then capturing it in the game.
•4:45 - A new mini-game called “PokeShifter” will allow you to transfer Pokemon from fourth generation games to Black and Whiteusing two DS’s. In a Pal Park-like manner, you select six Pokemon to transfer over on the DS with your fourth generation game and then encounter them in a grassy field in Black and White on the second DS. You use a sling shot to shoot Poke Balls at your Pokemon as they jump out of grass and back in, and when you hit them, you re-capture them.
•5:07 - We see spring and fall, meaning the layout of the games may change depending on the season in real life or that there are simply areas that feature season themes.
•5:17 - New Trainer types.
•5:24 - Shikijika, the evolution of Minezumi, revealed in a double wild battle!
•5:26 - There is a new “Battle Subway” where you battle random Trainers.
•Mamanbou, Luvdisc’s apparent evolution, can learn a new attack called Soak.
•Pokabu learns a new move called Fire Oath.
•Tsutaaja can learn a new move called Grass Oath

Even though I'm not a big fan of some of the new Pokemon, damn, so far, this is warranting me to either play or buy the game.

This is some brilliant stuff, though I think Aloe probably shouldn't be wearing an apron.

Emonga is brilliant. Hope it evolves from Pachirisu.

sup guys I'm playing Pokemon Black version. It's in Japanese, but I'll manage and I won't mind starting over when the English version comes out (Pokesav might come out by then anyways).

Still, some of the Pokemon I've seen in the Pokedex leak thing I wasn't that big of a fan of, but I'm sure when I play this game they'll probably grow on me.

It's pretty good so far, yes.

For those that have not seen all of the Gen. V Pokemon, here they are in a convenient slideshow format, along with their cries:

I decided to play this again.

Goddamn I'm addicted. I've been playing the damn game for hours straight when I could be writing instead, but when I decide to take a break from the game, I start thinking about it and shortly after that I'm back playing it.

DAMN YOU NINTENDO FOR MAKING ANOTHER GOOD GENERATION OF POKEMON GAMES

There are so many awesome Dark types. I have Hydreigon and Scrafty on my team, but I so-very-much want Krookodile (who I trained up through the game along with Scrafty) and Bisharp as well.

Whimsicott is such a troll Pokemon. Leech Seed, opponent uses boosting move, Encore, opponent uses boosting move, Taunt, opponent can't use boosting move, Tailwind, opponent uses Struggle... etc. I can often stall a KO simply from Leech Seed. xD
