They were not so much blind as incredibly numerous...

They do indeed sound like a "BIG" band....

I was happy because My Little Doll and I Am a Canvas were in there, and there were a couple of encores, during which - on strict orders from Sea Urchin - I may have had a little bop on the spot.

Very impressed by your obedience Cs M! Nicely carried out from all accounts as well.

Interview in Swedish web magazine, done in Stockholm 21st Nov:

I'd like to distance myself from anything that a nearby ventriloquist may have made me appear to say.

I'd also like to point out the few typos here and there, and the lack of any literary icon suggesting a passage of dry wit.

That was most interesting on a variety of levels - good hat too! I gather that photographs of Bid in broad daylight are very collectible nowadays.

Thanks are also due to Mrs P for setting it up!

Typo-wise, I only spotted "near" for "mere" as in "mere fact".

Surreal and gritty together ... I like it! Was El Capitanio on the ship's rum on said occasion?

Did he steal it while under the influence?!

Actually, on closer inspection, the captain's hat is the real thing and mine is but a pale imitation :(

This one was taken just after he polished the bottle off!

That chap's wearing eye makeup and thus is clearly an impostor! Funnily enough, one of Mrs P's friends claimed that Bid was wearing guyliner at the gig, but the allegation was robusted refuted.

robusted

a portmanteau indicating a substantial or vigorous bust (as opposed to lackadaisical one), the phrase as a whole showing two things had occurred, a robusting and a refuting. She loves her words and has now taken to inventing. Not sure that there shouldn't be a comma somewhere. So perhaps a typo (as opposed to a type A). Ho ho ho?

Thanks H for the robusted defence of my apparent neologism. I am merely preoccupied at the moment with the best way to cook a turkey and a vegetarian main in the same oven without cross contamination of vapours, and I have to come clean and say it was a simple typu.
