It has these rather massive, prominent cheekbones, too. In the majority of the cases it's an SSA feature, I suppose. I'd try to divide the Saudi "team" into three components: - naturalised athletes from East(?) Africa* - SSA-mixed-looking Saudis - Saudis without obvious SSA admixture *At the moment the site at which the athlete profiles were posted cannot be accessed, it seems to me. At least I can't check the birthplaces, now.

Keep in mind I call these morphs by "team" and not by real ancestry; whomever happens to be playing for the Saudi team will be included in the morph, regardless of where their (recent) origins may actually lie. Consequently, the nations who used more mercenaries in their athletic teams will appear to diverge quite a bit from whatever the indigenous phenotypical average would likely be. Better (or just different) samples will likely net better results. That said, I find that the majority of the Maghrebi/North African "teams" of individuals you posted here look rather indigenous to their respective homelands.

They speak Arabic although their looks tend to be "more indigenous" in the cheekbone area, I suppose. Btw, Starbuck, of how about the composition of "part II" of your series?
