Hello everybody! I try to find information about history of Yao people and Han Chinese. I am interested in ancient time... In genetic onformation... When and where were originated Yao people and Han? Were there any famous dynasty among that people? What wars were with Yao and Han? What migration ways in China has ancestors of Yao and Han? Where are they from? Especially I interested in... what history events could serve displacement a some Yao (or Han) to the north of China about 1500-1600 year to most border with Mongolia? Please give me the link on article (in English, not in Chinese) for reading or may be you tell me that moments in this thread. Thank you very much! |

Hello, Grigoriev! Welcome back to the forum! When you say "about 1500-1600 year," do you mean "approximately 1500 to 1600 years ago" (i.e. about 400 to 500 CE, or the fifth century), or do you mean "from about 1500 CE to 1600 CE" (i.e. the sixteenth century)? |

Denis, do you mean the Yao people of southern China or anything else? We have our Miao-Yao threads at http://s6.zetaboards.com/man/topic/529192/1/ and at http://s6.zetaboards.com/man/topic/528697/1/ Note that these are southerners from the traditional Chinese point of view and that they, geographically, migrated from central China to southern China. |

During this time frame the Yao were in any case too far in the south. |
