Shi Hong et al. wrote about data from more East and High Asian individuals. Apparently, markers for hgs D2 and D3 were tested, too. But the STR markers remained the same as last time. Dienekes criticised their age estimates.


Actually forget what I said an evolutionary rate closer to the germline rate better explains the variation in Native American Q1a1a. I recommend the evolutionary rate of 2.78*10^-3 for a set of 25 markers proposed by Chandler.
