In all consideration, Punk's almost an adult and well... yeah, that's not really the topic, I suppose. I don't agree with the account being deleted either. But, from the last few posts I saw from Akakios, he was rather rude and such. Don't remember anything in particular. But, I just remember coming on and wondering, "Why is Akakios' account deleted." After reading a few posts, I thought, "Oh... maybe that's why." I really think he could have intelligent, meaningful, or just amusing posts. But, I think he should clean up his act a little. I don't think flamewars are the things we should be pushing for in these forums, and far from Kamain's decree. Also, I highly agree with Punk's point that members like Akakios are what drives out members. He can be funny, but I really think his rude behavior helps drive out newer members. Just a thought, ya know. Heck, I can even remember Tal and Akakios, picking on a new member, calling him emo. I believe his name was DBAF or something. I don't think I see him around much anymore, and there could be good cause. If this forum is going to be comprised of flamewars, it's not going to prosper. Who wants to come to a place where there's just a bunch of drama and bickering? In the end, I think Akakios should come back. A permanent ban and account deletion was over doing it. However, perhaps he should be on post review. I know Tal doesn't like that concept, but it may be very helpful, at least until Akakios can learn to control what he says.

For the most part, we're all friends or acquaintances here, or in other words, the forum is more like a big house than a small city. Of course people in the same house argue at times, but really, who cares? Akakios shouldn't have been banned.

I voted yes, but the entire thing was vague. I thought banning would mean...say 1 week to 1 month. The only "decision" I saw was a small discussion between speedpaws and punkid about deleting his account. To wrap things up: NO FINAL DECISION HAD BEEN MADE TO DELETE HIS ACCOUNT. It was either luke strife or kamain that actually did it...but I'd but my bet on kamain, since he's a terrible admin. Punkid, in my eyes you're just a n00b that whined his way into becoming a moderator. You take the job too seriously, and I would definetly suggest that you demote yourself. Heck, the senate said that you SHOULD'NT become a moderator, and that we didn't need any more...but you became one anyway. You have no idea about the history of the site, etc. and deleting Akakios' account will simply make our forum...one member short.

When or if you need me. Perhaps me deleting him was a bit too outrageous. Ah well. It makes no odds to me. I see a person who has two pages of warns. I see a person who has had too many chances. Wanting him back just because he supposedly makes things "interesting" is dumb (most of his posts are nonsense anyway). Yes yes, he does, on rare occasion, have his moments. But it's like that credit card advert where "on one side of the world a very clever thing happens, and then an extremely dumb thing on the other side happens, and so the world is at balance once again", he'll make a good post or three, even a good topic, a good laugh. Then later on in the week he'll poo it all into the toilet by breaking the rules by some silliness. As I said. It makes no odds to me. If it makes you all happy I even wrote down how many posts he had before I clicked delete! 12146. Wond-awful.

My brother mentioned before how Akakios was rather rude to him when he returned. Chuck managed the situation rather well, though.

There have been periods when Alc has been inactive, and there was no growth at all then. In fact, at those times the forum was often described as 'boring'. Remember GS? All the 'bad' members went to GS, like FF and Me and IA who everyone hated at the time. All the 'good' people like Verafor and Korgone and whatnot stayed at Kamain. Turnout? Kamain almost died. Verafor, love you. Jassi I mostly agree with your post except for one thing: obviously every time Alc has been punished it hasn't helped any, so why would continuously punishing him more be better? I mean look at what happened when Alc got deleted: Everybody, basically, is just really pissed off at eachother. And Alc isn't any better. If you really want to change Alc, you guys are going to have to try to do something else, not just continuously ban him. Necro flamed again Verafor didn't yey Pffffft yeah right Punkid. How about we have someone who isn't his friend check him out, eh? After all, he doesn't have too many posts, and you may find that a good percentage are rather flamey. Yey Dread Love ya too. Nubbins, from what Luke has told me on MSN, it was Kamain's idea and he explained to Luke about it and whatnot, while Luke actually did it. AAAH LUKE YOU FINALLY POSTED! HOORAY MAN! Can't say I have much of a comment for it, however. Even as an accumulation of behavior, Jassi, Alc still hasn't done very much recently and it was all still very out of the blue. His recent behavior has been better than, say, his behavior a few months ago. I mean I don't think he has even done a regular flame in a good while, at least nothing that apparently is left to slide like the things Necro's posted in here.
