I'm thinking that the topic in Classic Forums should just be a copy (you can copy topics, right?) where the good stuff is stored, and the original topic still lives in Randomness for people to make new posts. |

Nope, no copy powers here. Edit: I got an idea. It's kinda what Tal was suggesting. How about moving the topic over to the classic topics section (without checking the checkbox when you move it mods) and then move it back over to the forum it was originally in. (while checking in the checkbox, mods.) The topic can still be in classics but it can still be redirected to the original forum where it was posted in. (It's for topics that are considered classics but stil living. Living classics.) Edit edit: It's not really copying, it's just redirecting type stuff. |

Or we could just close them. There's no giant need to post in them, is there? |

Sardonicism at its finest.

If it's classic, it shouldn't be posted in anymore, so they are kept novel. So think carefully which topics go in. Unless we did Punk's redirect idea. But then it wouldn't really keep them novel. :/ I've temporarily hidden the forum till the creases in the ideas have been ironed out. |
