_ Posts: 4 Group: Retired Moderator Member #171 Joined: December 19, 2004	I have some suggestions for the creativity category. 1: The forum "Stories" in my opinion should be something along the lines of "Writing" or "Literature." 2: The "Art" forum in my opinion should be changed to something along the lines of "Imagery," "Pictures," or "Drawn Art." 3: The addition of a forum named something like "Other Art." (This goes with #2.) Yeah, not much just a simple thought I had.

'Literature' or 'writing' just seems too formal and stuff, 'Stories' is much more casual and likeable. Art doesn't seem very general to me.

It would seem having names like this would be more fitting. Art may be a better name. While the others may be more suiting for most things that most people do on this forum, Art can cover the grounds of Sculptures and so forth. So, for me... Stories = Literature Art = Art.

Why make a whole new forum that contains like 2 topics? I mean the art forum isn't even that active in general without splitting into a bunch of annoying subcategories. And who makes anything except stories? We have like 3 poems and 1 essay in there. Let's make subforums for dat lol =D And, once more, 'Literature' just sounds too formal and proffesional for me, I'd rather have a more casual attitude with names like Stories.

However, like it is said, nobody does that sort of thing. Unless people were to start posting those things more, then I see no point in changing it. And Nick, you're right, Art covers a large area, so why would we want to change it? Surely fewer forums is better than more?
	What is worth having is worth working for.

It doesn't seem to imply you can put things such as CGI art, for example. I would suggest Graphic Art, technically speaking.

The Mana Cannon Posts: 615 Group: Member Member #414 Joined: October 16, 2005	In my understanding, if we're leaving it as Art to cover a wider range of topics, wouldn't changing the Stories forum to Writing be similar? Or, does this have something to do with "If it ain't broke, don't fix it?" At the very least, I think that in the description of Stories it should have a little label as to this is where poetry would go. I think I remember that Jess made a poem before, and she had put it in the Randomness forum. Granted, that could've been because she was new... I still think we need some form of guidance towards poems going into the Stories forum. Or, do we want poems in the Stories forum?
