That seems like a VERY bad idea to me. Think about all the freakin retards out there that might go "I hate that site and it's members" They could always upload a game with a virus or something. There would be no way to know which game is real. OF course you could do a virus scan, but not all virus scanners get every type of virus. Oh and I just thought of something else. Someone could put porn and crap in their game. OF course now that I think about it, they could always upload to megauploads or a place and do the same thing, BUT If something like that did happen, it would be your site that gets the bad publicity, allowing those kind of games. These are my thoughts anyway. |

Thats why he should get a site moderator and create a ToU for the uploading. Thats way when its uploaded and its against the terms the moderator could delete said file. |

 Or, is that just me?I actually like the idea of being able to upload a game directly to the site. Granted, we may need something to help protect it from inappropriate content and viruses, but whenever I manage to finish my game, I think that'd be the way I'd like to get it onto the site. But, this would mainly be a problem for games that are really big (over 10 mb). Because, for some people with dial-up (like me and Zid), downloading games directly from www.kamain.com may be easier to do (with a download manager) than trying to download from megaupload and savefile. Those are my reasons why I like the idea.

it'll attract more people, which is good, but i think a lot of ppl will just forget about the main site and go back to the forum. people could always just post links to porno or viruses on this forum, but we never worry about that. maybe we should have a mod review all the files b4 they're posted (which will kinda ruin the point but watever). |

actually I've already thought this issue through When someone joins the site they start at journalist level, which means any post they create has to be approved by me or another editor, (most of our staff is already an editor) so anything that can harm the public will NEVER see the light of day) Essentially the sign on page will have a TOU displayed, any account found to be posting virus' will be suspended until an investigation is conducted. to see if it was malicious or not. Outright violations will result in a perma ban. Any questions? Any post |

I think it's a good idea. I mean, you have safeguards that you're ready to implement that most other sites don't, and it would be a great service. Way to go, Kamain! ADDED: I just looked at the welcome page. It looks much better. It's not so thrown together and appears organized. Amazing! |

sounds cool of corse if someone puts something bad up then u jump on it and get rid of it right away and infrom people on thr forum W/E that way people will know u dont tollarate things like than and the u dont get the bad publicity =D |
