I think I'm getting dizzy Posts: 0 Group: Retired Moderator Member #18 Joined: October 3, 2004	Because I already did. Part of the ToU that I wrote ^.^ - Spam is off topic posting and/or a post with no real meaning to the reader and/or constant double posting. So ha! You don't DEFINE spam, you decide if it follows MY definition. And if you decide something is spam that doesn't follow my definition, you can the "OMGWTFBBQ POWER ABBUUUSSSSEEEEE!" card played on you. As long as something isn't a double post, means something to the reader, and is on topic, it is not spam. Even if it is totally useless and doesn't contribute one bit, so long as it's on topic and you can understand what the poster's saying, it's not spam. Oh, and I will bother complaining btw because Quote: - Members have the right to petition and/or give any kind of feedback to any action that an administrator or moderator takes It's kinda scary that I still know everything in the ToU.

If a topic starts out about band # 1 and slowly progresses to band # 2, it isn't spam because the topic progressed. That's what you made it sound like in your "announcement." Saying that stuff like that is spam that is.

If a topic is about how hot the sun it, and someone says "the sun it out" it don't contribute one bit. But, it does mean something to the reader. It follows my definition but not yours. @ Luke: I'm not calling a post spam, I'm just saying you can't write your own definition. @ Nick: I guess that might be true. But I think I topic would be slit at that point. @ Everyone: What I'm arguing for here is a post that's on topic but is deemed non-contributor by a mod. It seems to me like IA is saying he's going to delete posts like "good idea" or "nice job" with certainly don't contribute, but these people are expressing their opinions in a manner fit for the reader and the subject. Therefor, they are to be left alone.

I think we need to go find all of IA's spam parades, count all the posts, and see how many posts we have to take away from him.
