OK, in my game, if you choose a person and you enter name, blah blah blah, how do you make it so like... If it's one person... it recognizes that person. "Hello [person's name], how are you?" but the problem is... what if it says another person's name when it's not yours. Like say this guy's person is James. and the other guy's name is Peter. Will I have to create different scenarios for EACH of the people? Like if they are in one map, the people can recognize their name. I'm basically saying: Is there any way to make it more simplistic? Or will I have to create different maps for each person. Sorry, i can't really explain it. |

Do you mean the conversation is different depending on the name of the chara? If yes then here: Use a conditional branch. On page 3 go to hero - name is... The put whatever name you want. then inside it you can do all the message stuff. Or just show the chara name? it's \n[ID] replace 'ID' with the id number of the hero. |

\n[1] or \n[3], perhaps \n[8] , shows the name of the person who has that number in the database |
