I thought this might be fun to do, make a list of the top 10 something in videogames every week or whenever i feel like it

today: THE TOP 10 MOST OVERRATED GAMES!

10. Halo
Now, don't you yell at me, I'd admit halo was a good game, but it definatly got more respect than it deserved. It contained lacking multiplayer, weak storyline, and nothing new that we haven't seen before in an FPS.

9. Final Fantasy 9
Heh, neat CGs, but the characters were really stupid and lame, and there wasn't any good plot in the whole game.

8. Enter the matrix
Neat moves, gameplay sucked ass, no multiplayer

7. Star wars: Battlefront
This was pretty much a ripoff of battlefield 1942 with less characters and worse levels

6. Pokemon
Interesting idea turned into one of the worst RPGs ever made. Compared to FF, this one stank.

5. Sonic adventure
Although this was the first 128bit graphics game, the storyline sucked, the character voiceovers sucked, and the levels were too easy

4. The sims
Well, controlling someones life really isn't as fun as it seems. Building your house and killing sims were the only good things in the game.

3. Turok Evolution
Sweet multiplayer, bad linear single player.

2. American Idol
Interesting idea to make a new dancepad game in the form of American Idol. Outcome? DDRs retarted twin

Umm, hello?!?! Anybody home? Enter The Matrix was/is amazing! The gameplay rocks, the fighing is freakin sweet, and there IS multiplayer, You just have to do about 10 minutes of hacking and beat the game to get it...

But yeah, X-2 was grossly overrated.

FF9- I thought ff9 had a great plot and charaters

Battlefront was beautiful. I've played it about 80 times and i'm not even close to beng bored of it.

Pokemon- I dont know what your smoking man.

My guess to be the most overated is Final Fantasy X-2 . come on! All square enix had to do was copyand paste ff10.

Wikipedia Entry On Maury

After the video, with the female often further enraged or upset, the male will walk onto the set; he will usually be booed loudly by the audience. The male will typically react in a "you-don't-know-me" mannerism, showing confidence that he is not the father. A picture of the baby juxtaposed with a picture of the male will appear on a video screen, to which the female will usually say how she thinks they look similar, and the male will say how they do not look alike at all. One common occurrence is that each person will claim that he or she is beyond 100% (often 200% or 1,000%) sure that the man is/is not the father, with figures sometimes reaching as high as 1,000,000% (the highest this has it gone is "infinity-plus 1 percent", in the show aired on November 20, 2007 when a participant named Natasha (surname unknown) claimed to be "infinity-plus 1" percent sure that a man was the father of her child (The DNA test then proceeded to prove her wrong) [3]).

If you're reading this, I was bored.
I rather liked FF9 myself. The plot was okay, but there were plenty of minigames, and this game was what really got me hooked on RPGs in the first place. Hmm... For most overrated... I'm gonna have to say FFX itself. It blew.

HALO!!! HALO is not overrated. It redefined the whole ***ing genre. Wicked multiplayer, uber comprehensive and responsive controls. dual use of weapons and grenades. it did theings other FPS's never did, and it actually had an interesting, twisting plotline. the only good FPS prior was Goldeneye, based on a movie with a good story that barely made it into the game, and no FMVs or real cutscenes. plus, the ability to hook 4 x-boxs together and have 16 ppl going at it, well, if youve ever done that, i need not explain.

sims was also good, but that is a matter of opinion. Halo was an awesome, genre-defining. It may not be your favorite, but just like Resident Evil redefining the horror genre, you gotta respect it. even if you hate it.

DOOM3!

psst! try skin cream

seriousely, the game may have had good graphics, but overall this was just another bad effort to make the next HL. they failed.

Honerable mentions
Final Fantasy X-2: Worse than X, and a gun isn't fitting for Yuna. sorry fanboys.
Donkey Kong 64: Less fun than collecting banannas in the grocery store.
Perfect Dark: Boring campaign made this one almost make the top 10.
Sonic Heroes: Waaaay too juvinile for its difficulty.

Tomorrow, top 10 best voiceovers

By the way this is the thread for my top ten, if you want to post your top ten, please make your own thread.

10. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Acadamy.
Dude these are sweet, really, you felt that you were actually becoming a jedi, and that you actually met luke skywalker. SWEET!

9. Kingdom Hearts
Square Enix always has a knack for making sweet voiceovers and this one did a great job.

8. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
Yet another Star Wars game that had even better voiceovers.

7. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
I really liked the matinee sequences for this one. Whoever they chose for the voices were great.

6. Final Fantasy X-2
Although this game wasn't great, it did have some of the greatest voiceovers that I have ever seen

5. Halo2
Besides the aliens talking, voiceovers were almost perfect

4. Half Life
Well, it may look like their jaws are having spasims, but these voices were movie quality.

3. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Wow, just wow, it's hard to beat this one since these are some of the greatest voiceovers in a game ever.

2. Final Fantasy X
Surprizingly enough, I thought that the voices in this game were better than the sequal. Hmm, there were just more of them, and square did a better job with them.

Hmm, You're probably refering to Halo2, which was good, but i'm talking about halo1.

Have you tried Half Life? Quake? Timesplitters? Duke Nukem? Those were good FPSs before halo

I'm also in the minority when it comes to Halo. Sure, it's fun killing the same three enemies in the same room over and over for a FEW minutes, but...

As for voiceovers, I'd say Metal Gear Solid had the best. I also think Disgaea should get an honorable mention if only for Barbara Goodson's and Amanda Winn-Lee's excellent Laharl and Etna. The prinnies and Captain Gordon had great voices, too.

actually, i am referring to numero uno. theres a reason it became so hott. it had to be better than any other fps to get that much attention. think about it, Xbox was making very few sales, its only real game out at the same time was DOA3. Halo became the reason to own an Xbox. how many games do u know that were able to sell a console all on its own? besides RE4 and the new LOZ which will soon bring the Cube back into the light, Halo MADE the xbox.

xcept timesplitters, yes. Halflife was a good game, but it wasn't as good as halo and the story didn't keep my attention long enuff. the console version was pitiful. Quake was awesome, but nothing truly new or innovative. and duke nukem was is and will always be average. not that it was a terrible game (none of them were) they were just more of the same.

Yes Doom 3 was the most visualy stunning game ive ever come across in a long while but, I have to say this. HOW HARD IS IT TO HOLD A twezeING FLASHLIGHT WITH YOUR twezeING GUN! You have to download a twezeing tape hack to see 2 feet in front of your face in doom 3! I meen come on! I know Snes games that taped your flashlite to your gun... That was just horrid.
