Ok, I have a teleport in animation. I use it on maps, not in battle. But, 5/6 of the way through the animation, I have a sprite fade in using opacity changes in a move event. So, before that event, there is a wait event (for 174 frames). So the event looks like this... Show animation: Teleport in Wait: 174 frames Move Event: Change opacity: 50 Wait 2 frames 100 Wait 2 frames 150 Wait 2 frames 200 Wait 2 frames 255 But what happens is nothing, untilt the wait is over. So my question is how do I make the next part of an event happen half way through an animation, not before, straight away, or after (and also WITH the animation playing in full) |

wait for the number of frames u want until it to happen inside the animation. Make it wait only about 85 frames for halway etc. |

You want the target to dissapear halfway through the animation, right? sounds like time warping form LoA... :P. Ok, make sure the event has a graphic set to 0 opacity. or, make it with no graphic, but give it one with the move event. Also, make sure you adjust the wait command so that it ends 5/6 of the way through the animation. (ex. if the anim. is 120 frames long, make the wait 100 frames long) |
