Ruby only works in XP. As for making it animated... I don't know.

I've seen a script to bypass the title screen, then you could make your own with events, but not one for animated screens.

Yes. Like the local know-it-all alastyr said you can just have a script that changes the title scene to a map with events. You could use fog and stuff from there, and have other such things.

Another thing to do would be to replace Scene_title with this...

Code:

 loop do
     if @sprite.bitmap == RPG::Cache.title("001-title001")
       @sprite.bitmap = RPG::Cache.title("001-title002")
       break
    end
    if @sprite.bitmap == RPG::Cache.title("001-title002")
      @sprite.bitmap = RPG::Cache.title("001-title003")
      break
    end
    if @sprite.bitmap == RPG::Cache.title("001-title003")
      @sprite.bitmap = RPG::Cache.title("001-title001")
      break
    end
  end

That animates it by using different title screens in a loop.

Bah, hope I helped in some way.
