okay i just finished an opening cutscene thing for my game but how am i able to get my hero to walk because if i put a set starting party thing the it skips the opening of my game....can anybody help? |

yeah... here is what I do for most opening cutscens. 1. I build all the events around the Start Party Position* *Note, an evet on the mad is solid, things for some reason dont seem to be able to walk over them if they are a switch or a char, or a start party position. so like if there is an NPC that gets turned off (say he dies or something) then other NPCs wont move over it. 2. In the SYSTEM tab of the database set it to where there are NO heros in the starting party. 3. in the final bit of the opening scene add the hero to the party, and turn the AUTO start off. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OR if the hero does not need to be added, and is part of the cutscene simply turn the autostarted event off. |
