Easy way to beat Ruby Weapon (he's the one underwater). Get Knights of the Round, by getting a golden chocobo, and quadra magic with a gold chocobo. then equip them on a linked materia. Go fight him and it will do 9999 each. Or get quake3 and use quadra with it. |

Quadra+Knights of the round on your fastest character, than equip mime to everyone, now watch as ruby weapon can do nothing but sit idly waiting for it's death. I've probably beaten it about 30 times total, but only 8 or so times all the way through... DID YOU KNOW THAT IN THE JAPANESE VERSION YOU CAN BRING AERITH BACK TO LIFE????? I'M SO FREAKING PISSED!!!!! They cut it out of the american version to make a deadline, along with a few other things...including a lot of Vincents story. |
|
Kyonyu Suki??? All current projects are frozen in time until I find a reliable computer. Star Ocean: Prayers of the Silent (Retitle and remake of previous game: Serenia, which was lost to the eternal digital abyss...) Story: 50% Everything Else: 0% The Kayamo Series Story: 100% (Development will follow the completion of my practice game, Prayers of the Silent.) | |

That's not true. You could never bring back Aeris, and never will be able to. Why would you want her back? It screws up the whole story. Anyway, another thing I noticed was wrong was that Knights of the Round doesn't work with Quadra Magic, and even if it did work, he'd use Ultima to kill your party afterwards. The easiest way I've found to beat him is to attach Master Summon to Quadra Magic and put it on Red XIII (highest Mag stat, next to Aeris) along with Final Attack + Phoenix and a bunch of Mag+ materia. GO into battle with Red alone and wait for Ruby to dig in his claws, then Quad-Summon HADES on his tentacles. After two or three, the tentacles will be destroyed and it will attack Ruby and stop him. Now use KOTR twice, use an elixer, wait for him to star moving again, and repeat. You'll have NO problems. |

The most important thing to have when fighting Sephiroth is MP Haste, and two of those skills that recharge MP when you take damage. This ensures that you'll ALWAYS have enough MP to cure if you need it. That's what's most important. The second most important thing is to make sure he never gets the chance to use Heartless Angel. Always keep a lock on him, and if he starts charging it up, Superglide over and smack him. He's not too hard once you get the hang of him. If you need to level up, the best way is to fight Ice Titan and block the icicles it shoots at you. |

NO I'M NOT FREAKIN BSing YOU! There was a deadline, how freaking hard is that to understand? Should I spell it out for you? D E A D L I N E. Thur ya go, hur hur! 'Bout my earlier strategy against Ruby Weapon, ignore it, it's flawed, It's been about two years since I played, in game time thats a few hundred hours. |

Final Fantasy VII was a complete game. It was Square's top priority, so they didn't cut anything out. Trust me: they never intended for you to be able to resurrect Aeris. Look at the plot (play it again if you have to), if Aeris came back to life it would throw the story so far out of whack it wouldn't be funny. The ending was supposed to be open-ended. Nothing was cut. |

Ok, I'm a little bit of an idiot, but not completely, it was not cut-out to before it was sent out, it was even cut-out in the japanese version, and yes it was for a deadline, but it was fairly easy to clean up...except for a couple of spots they left behind... Also, yes they also cut it out for storyline purposes as well, but mostly to much problem with coding and not enough time. Trust me, I have looked into this topic thoroughly. 1) You see Aeris for a split second in the church after she has died...Originally there was supposed be some dialouge. 2) You can, with the gameshark, (japanese version) and the revive Aeris cheat on, see Aeris spout out quite a bit of dialouge, on the third disc. 3) Remember her materia? The only item that could bring her back. They took it out, just like that it's impossible to revive her. THere is more that I shall explain later, until then, goodbye. And goodnight. |

1) I'll give you that. 2) Dialogue isn't programmed like in RPG Maker. It doesn't use conditional branches, it's programmed to recognize the value of the character and spit out their name at the top of the dialogue. "Aeris'" dialogue can be said be anyone, so that's why that works. 3) Materia all have ONE purpose and ONE purpose only. The white materia was for summoning Holy. It could never have been used to bring her back. I'm sure that you researched this, but it was invariably from the same place that the rumors that you could revive her started from: fans and the internet. An interview with Hideo Kojima made it clear that there were never any intentions to let you revive her. The truth of the matter is that Kojima's mother died during the development of Final Fantasy VI, and he used life and death as the theme for his next game as part of his mourning method. Aeris is dead and buried, and nothing can bring her back. Just like real life. Funny how that works out. |

1.yeah 2.what Haywood says 3.I agree with Haywood again, the White Materia was used to cast Holy, which looked awesome, good reason too (Aeris spent time preparing it,and probably continued to prepare in death,in the life stream) and even though the materia sounds like the Holy Grail of FF7,it cant revive anyone. So sad,to bad,Aeris was a horrible character anyway and she wasnt really "buried" Haywood  and saying that there was a deadline for FF7 is like saying that you can get Zack in your party <_< which if anyone here does you WILL be shanked with a sharpened toothbrush because I'm real tired of that one. There was no deadline,Squaresoft finished the game 100%,any dialouge missing is probably just as well, because who HONESTLY cares about Aeris  SHE IS STUPID |

Aeris was the best magic-user in the game. With the right setup, she kicked serious ass. |

Actually, I never even used aeris when I had her... But fine, you've made your point...wishful thinking I guess. Zack in your party? Don't make me laugh. I've had Sephiroth in my party...Gameshark, but Dark place, my game kept freezing up. |
