Help me decide: DS or PS2. Used, or new. Ebay, or that one used game shop. |

Right now, the only killer app the DS has is Mario 64 DS, so I'd wait a little bit to see how it goes. Personally, I'll wait until they put a REAL Metroid game on it. |

DS is gonna have some pretty sweet titles soon. my favs are Final Fantasy 3 (it finally hits the rest of the world!), a Shin Megami title, and some other odd game i cant remember that sounded sycotic! anyway, its looking good as a system (PSP is in trouble!) but id go with a PS2 if you dont already have one, cuz u'll be getting alot more for less. used or new, it doesn't matter as long as the thing works right. (new has a better chance of that) JUNO |

Whats with DS? Didn't they just release SP no longer then 6 months ago? Whats with that? Am I asking to many questions?
Anyway they released SP and now DS. Why didn't they just release DS in the first place. You wanna know why! So they mooch money off everyone... Sadly it worked... :ph43r: I should of never bought SP! Although it was a step up from where they were going with game boy |

6 months? Try 2 years. That came about a year after gba, and the main reason for the sp was the back lit screen. *sniffly wiggle* Why didn't i just wait for revolution instead of gamecube, or yeah, because it was a great console.... |

maybe, but im waiting for the psp. and my suggestion, ps2! Are you kidding me? Definaltly get the PS2! If you have the money for it, then PLEASE go with it! If you wanna play those ff games, most of them are on ps2, and the ones that aren't are available as FREE nes/snes roms. The ds isn't that good guys. There have been NO good games released for it yet, and even mario ds wasn't that great (controls?) |

PS2 all the way, man. you can get some seriously killer games for pretty cheap nowadays! And I'd go with new if you'll have cah left over for at least 2 games. plus the PS2 controler is simple genious.. |

Well, duh! PS2 has been out 4 more years! But the DS is better (i gave it a 9.5, whereas I gave PS2 a 6). It has a less-than-thrilling opening genre right now, but it's supposed to get a lot of Square titles in, and metroid. The demo is working very well, actually. But the PS2 is not good enough to buy for 150 bucks. get a GC if you dont got one |

MY BRAIN HURTS!!!

I own a ps2, but I'm going to buy a DS instead of a PSP, do you know why? Their is so much potential for the DS It's crazy, soon it will be running on internet, and could even double as a cell phone, A VIDEO CELL PHONE. DS is a bit awkward to work with at first, but I got used to it playing it in the stores all the time. Using the touchscreen becomes second nature, sort of like not having to look down at a controller, remember when your parents try to play and they spend half the time looking down at the controller? That's what it feels like at first with the DS, my advice? Do buy the PS2 for now, the new slim one, and wait for the DS selection to increase. The graphics on that little thing are MORE than decent. |

Kyonyu Suki??? All current projects are frozen in time until I find a reliable computer. Star Ocean: Prayers of the Silent (Retitle and remake of previous game: Serenia, which was lost to the eternal digital abyss...) Story: 50% Everything Else: 0% The Kayamo Series Story: 100% (Development will follow the completion of my practice game, Prayers of the Silent.) | |
