In case you haven't read my HG/SS review, it was implied that I was going to review this game next. Yeah...

The Beatles. Need I say more? I was very nervous about being a Beatles fan. (Mainly it's because at the time, everything was hip-hop and stuff.) I had almost forgot about them until I saw Simpsons episodes that talk about them, either as a reference or them as guest stars. They have a musical quality that others try to imitate. *coughjonasbrotherscough* Enough back story. Let's get on to the review.

Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 3. Released September 9th, 2009

Story
It's the freakin' Beatles. Their story is magical, to say the least. You start off in their early days as a regular boy band in the Cavern, where they performed.

There are places I remember...

After that, they go to America and appear on the Ed Sullivan Show. This marked their first appearance on American television. Afterward, you go to Shea Stadium and the Budokan to perform.

All my life.

When you complete the Budokan stage, the Beatles decided that they would stop touring and become a studio-only band. This all leads up to their final public appearance together on the Apple Corps rooftop concert. And that's that for this history lesson.

Though some have changed...

10/10

Music
Like I said, it's the Beatles. But I'll be honest here. They are all short. But they kick so much ass that you don't care. They have songs from all their albums, at least one song. All of their songs not in the game will be DLC. (BTW, Love is in it too.) If you don't like the Beatles, I suggest listening to them and see if you want to play it. For this very section, I have to create separate scores.

Beatles Fan - 9/10
Not a fan - 7/10

Gameplay & Graphics
It's Rock Band, first of all. You've played it. Same crap. I'm going to have to say something about the graphics right now. They are beautiful. The dreamscapes are beautiful. They can give you an image of what the song is about.

Trust me on this. Search up Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows on Youtube.

10/10

Misc.
DLC for every system it's available on. Right now 3 albums (Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Abbey Road) are currently available. You can connect with your friends online for multiplayer fun. So it's Rock Band with less cool stuff. Yeah there are unlockables in story mode, but whatever. It's there if you want to unlock, but you can always go to websites and find this stuff out.

5/10

Replay Value
I'll be quick here. The scores are the almost same as the Music section of this review.

Beatles Fan - 9/10
Not a fan - 5/10

Final Comments
I know I didn't talk about certain songs here, but give me a break! It's 11 PM here. I'm tired. W/E. Overall, if your a fan of the Beatles, get this game. If not, rent it. Here are the final scores.

Beatles Fan: 43/50 Excellent game.
Not a fan: 37/50 Good game.

Great game whatsoever, too bad it was so short. Beat the story mode in one sitting, and got most of the achivements in a day. I loved it obviously, considering I'm a big beatles fan. I just wish they would've put more songs on the disc, 45 isn't enough.

Yeah, they will, but it sucks to have to pay for more songs, I mean rock band 2 had 82 songs, so.

One thing that pissed me off is that Her Majesty cost the same as any other song.

It's like 14 seconds long!!!!! >=(

Oh yeah, another complaint was that most of the songs were 2 minutes long. 2 minutes long songs for 45 makes it really short.

Yep, the game was easy. The only achivement I don't have is the one where you get 100% on The End's drum solo, on expert. Freaking hard.

Totally.
But after playing this (and my first Rock Band experience) I have fallen in love with Rock Band. The drumkit is amazing!
Also, game is good. Very.
I was addicted to it for three hours without realising.

It's all in the tracklisting, and the new makers of Guitar Hero trying too hard to please everyone.

Activision usually fails at their games, lots of glitches everywhere, and their music games are out of synch.
