So here's a conversation I had with a typical american girl. People like her are what makes the world think americans are idiots. beardedted: meh beardedted: I just think it's stupid to hate someone for their orientation when god was supposed to be love and loved everyone Rachel V: a lot of christians just think they're supposed to show hatred towards them when they're really supposed to show love beardedted: indeed Rachel V: and thats what it means to be a christian.. to be christ-like. show love to all humanity and just hate their sins. lol cause no one is perfect. not even christians. no matter how hard they try. beardedted: nobody is indeed beardedted: christians would have to hate themselves as well Rachel V: yes. thats my point lol. because I am a christian.. not a very good one.. but a christian. and I don't hate gays. Yeah, those crazy people over there cooking in the desert sun. I don't understand how they could possibly misinterpret something that so clearly states not to attack any non-believers. Clearly, the culture that's bathed in Muslim history every day has absolutely no concept of what their religion states, while the Western ones who live in a relatively secular culture have maintained the true religion. That, or perhaps it's a little more complicated to make the claim that Islam is a "good" or "bad" religion than people seem to think. |
