Lately, I've been focusing on progress with working-out. I missed school Monday and Tuesday, mainly because I felt like crap and sleepy. I've now missed 5 days already since the beginning of this sophomore year. (We can only miss 7 days per semester.) I decided to watch a movie on my computer that Tuesday evening, which was The Butterfly Effect (great movie). Oddly enough, just watching this movie changed the rest of my mood for the day in a weird sort of way. I began to think, am I that fixed on my habits, to the point where one different activity in my day makes me feel out of place? Sadly enough, it's true. I usually sit on the computer the whole time when I get home from school. Just doing something out of the ordinary (like watching a movie) makes me feel odd. Fortunately, I've been keeping myself on the work-out schedule. I've only done four work-outs since last Monday, and I'm already noticing progress. Forced to go from 115 pounds of lifting back to 95 pounds sucks, but I'm climbing back up to where I left off. Hopefully, I'll be back on 35's at the end of this month. Doing curls without free weights suck; I don't feel comfortable at all when I'm sitting down doing curls with weights that are attached to the weight bench. I've also found a more progressive way in doing sit-ups. It's kinda like doing the six-inches exercise, except you're lifting your upper body instead. There's probably a name for it... I haven't started working on my leg muscles yet; still too damn humid/hot to ride my bike around. Speaking of weather, tomorrow will be the start of the October weather I've been waiting for. Highs in the high 60's/low 70s, clear skies... It was something I was looking forward to at the beginning of the week, but it was pushed back sometime after my last blog. Unfortunately, it will only last 3-4 days before it goes back to humid weather in the 80s. I wish it was like last year's October.
