I spent my Friday night at Kyle and Kody's, watching Kyle play CoD4 on the 360 and Kody play Silent Hill 2. David was over there, too. Kody was having a hard time finding his way around in Silent Hill 2. He played the third and fourth one back then, just not the first and second. It was a pretty chill night. Saturday was where it was at. I watched the LSU football match against Mississippi in my room while killing time on Team Fortress 2. It's a pretty fun game, to be honest. I love blowing up people with the soldier. I'm probably going to play some more of it after finishing this blog. But anyway, I hooked up Steven's (Kyle's cousin) computer that he left at our house to be fixed up in performance terms. Who would've thought it to be a great idea to sell 500MB of RAM with Vista?! I winded up removing a load of programs (definitely McAffee), deleting temporary files, installing AVG virus protection, and defragging the 100GB hard drive with JkDefrag when we brought it to his house. He was having a surprise party for his grandmother at his house at 7PM, so I came along with Kyle and Kody to Steven's house. We hung out in Steven's room most of the time, just chatting it up and listening to old Metallica albums through his stereo. Since many of Kyle's cousins love getting drunk, there were jello shots all around the kitchen. Steven and I would walk back and forth from the kitchen back into his room, ninja-ing some jello shots every time we did. I took all the strawberry ones. We had a total of 20 empty jello shots sitting on his bedside. It was pretty funny. I probably had 15 of those 20. The cake was delicious. Later on in the night (while there was still a party going), we hooked up the Rock Band 2 equipment in the living room and started playing some Guitar Hero Metallica and Rock Band 2. Half the time I was playing bass, then I eventually played drums until 1AM in the morning. Our last hour there was Kody and Steven quietly playing Halo 3 1v1. I took a ride with Kody back to my house, since he now has a driver's license and insurance on his mom's car. I walked to my house right next to his and went to sleep. The rest of today is probably me sitting on the computer for awhile, watching the Saints game, then going to Kody and Kyle's. I'm looking forward to this school week due to the weather report: ![]() As you can see (as of Sept. 27, 2009), it says that it will be much cooler and less humid when Tuesday comes. That's EXACTLY what I need. :D It's a great transition to October, the month I'm looking forward to. I'm probably going to spend that day laying in the sun in my backyard, listening to some music on my Zune, once I'm done with the school day. |

Perma-bored

My weekend was awful. I spent more than half of it designing a stupid kayak website as homework. It's ridiculously long, tedious and boring. And I'm not even done yet.
