Today, I looked back at an entry of mine exactly three years ago. Damn, things have changed a LOT. I'm now in a school that's actually near my neighborhood, where I know a lot of people. I can't believe I had to deal with that Riverdale across the river for all my years of middle school. There's a lot more I could differ from now to today, but who cares?

The weather has been downing a bit in temperature (finally), but the cost comes in humidity... lots of it, thanks to cloudy/rainy weather. Another month, and we should start having some cooler mornings. October probably has to be my favorite month, since there's not much rain in this month for some reason.

I haven't really told about a typical day at my school this sophomore year. I'll try and keep it shorter this time. (XD)

Basically, I get up at 5:30 A.M., where I shower, get dressed, eat, brush my teeth, then go to the bus stop with my little brother at 6:15, waiting to ride on a bus that has no air conditioning and contains an old, slow driver. On my journey to school, I usually sit next to Kyle or Luke, since the bus is now really crowded this year. I sit and listen to music on my Zune, which has a broken screen now. I simply keep pressing next until I'm satisfied with a song.

We leave the bus and walk into our school's courtyard around 6:50, where Kyle and I hang out with our friends the same spot we hung out last year, Dallen included. Luke hangs out in the gazebo with his friends. Examples of people from the group are: Kyle, David, Jordan, Josh, Don, Chris, Dallen, Marissa, Michael... We basically kill time by having hilarious conversations in this large group until we go to homeroom. I grab my books from my locker and walk into my homeroom. I have a couple of friends in here, but I usually sit in quietness or sleep until I go to Civics at 7:40, where I deal with Mrs. Kahn with most of my friends from our group (including Kyle). I usually talk to Kyle, David, Josh, and Don, who sit around me near the front (all are from the group). I either sleep or actually do work, 50/50 chance.

Mrs. Ruffin for Algebra II at 9:10. Had her last year for geometry. This time, the class is bigger due to more of our friends from the group being here. I always work in here, because sleeping is hopeless with this lady who gives Clint Eastwood looks towards everyone. I sit in the back next to this black tall guy named Casey from elementary, and we usually mess with each other by crackin' jokes and knocking over each others' crap. It's a time killer in this slow class.

Instead of being lunch at 10:50 like last year, Freshmen now have their own lunch. On my long walk to the other side of school for my Art I class, I put up the books from my previous classes in my nearby locker. Don, Dallen, and I usually chat on my way there, since our classes are near each other. Don's this real cool mixed guy, but Kyle doesn't like him that much just because he's more livelier than him. My Art I class is the quietest class I got, containing only 5-6 people including me. None of my friends are in here, but my teacher, Mr. Bennett, is this cool punkish-looking guy who is even a gamer. Every time I finish my daily artistic (also time-consuming) assignment, I hop on one of the computers in there and play some Tetris, the Doom flash game, or something else related. I usually eat my sandwich from home in here, since lunch is 12:20 for everyone who isn't a freshmen.

When lunchtime shows up, if I brought a sandwich that day, I would slowly stroll my way to the gazebo to sit with Kyle, David, Don, Josh, and others. Else, my hungry ass will dart my way to the cafeteria into the hot lunch line, where I meet up with Dallen at one of the tables. After eating my free lunch, I go to the gazebo and wait for lunch to end so I can deal with my last period, English III.

At 1:10, we go to the front of the school for English III with this middle-aged lady named Mrs. Tickle. Like Civics and Algebra II, most (or all) of my friends from the group are in here. I always act like a little child when the teacher has her attention on me, because she's so nice that she reminds me of a kindergarten teacher, so I mock that reminder by acting like a kindergartner (in a nice manner of course). Most of the time we have a couple of assignments to do, and I rarely sleep in this class since it's my last period of the day.

Nothing sounds more relieving than the ringing bell that ends the day at 2:40. Kyle and I walk to our bus across the parking lot at the front of the school, while Luke gets a ride home from Steven. The bus is a little less crowded in the afternoon, but Kyle and I still have to share seats. Both of us pull out our Zunes and just jam it up until we get to our bus stop 10 miles later. Kyle and I have a chat as we walk to our homes about 10 houses away, where we then part. I usually go straight to my room, turning on the computer and opening my blinds to let in some daylight. Sometimes I grab something to eat while in this process.

And ladies and gentlemen, that's a regular school day for me. And what do you know; I won't have one for 3 days. Thanks, Friday. ^^
