Like expected, I'm not doing anything special today, even though it's the last day of my summer vacation. Even though I'll be looking forward to it, I'm going to hate school again by the end of the first week. Let's pray to God that my bus doesn't come early this year, just so I can get that extra 30 minutes of sleep every day. So, before I'm exposed to Hell itself, let's predict it.

My first day is going to be crap, only because I know I won't get much sleep tonight. Even though I've been waking up pretty early for the past few days, I still can't manage to sleep early. Every night, for the past few days, I have lied in bed for at least three hours before I got anywhere. Come on, I should be able to fall sleep at 10PM if I've been waking up around 8AM, right? One important factor I've learned during this summer is to not worry about getting your sleep schedule knocked into the right direction for school. Because, no matter what, you're going to be tired as hell when you're waking up at 5:30 in the morning for those first few days of school. Then, your internal clock is going to be adapted to it by the time it's the third or forth day. It fixes itself.

It's going to be great to see how this Freshmen separation is going to work out. My little brother Luke is going to be a Freshmen this year. Lucky him, though. His lunches are earlier than ours, and then it's much quieter since it's only one grade outside for that whole courtyard. At least I don't have to deal with Freshmen running around chasing each other. Our lunch is going to be a little quieter, too. Still have to deal with them during breakfast... They're going to be highlighted as Desert Storm troops with those khaki shirts and pants.

There's a good chance I'll have to put up with the social studies teacher, Mrs. Kahn, this year, because I have two half-credit courses for social studies for (probably) this first semester. Even though she's annoying as hell, she's always fun to mess with. Kyle and I used to crack jokes at her out-loud all the time during world history last year. Actually, half of the class did. It's going to be great to do that again. We used to pull all kinds of crap. It's a good chance Kyle and I will have most of our classes together, including all the new friends from last year. I love honors, just so I don't have to deal with all the gangsta blacks in my class. I had to deal with them for one class last year, English II, since they didn't put me in honors for some reason. They were REALLY annoying. Didn't listen to the teacher, loud mouthed... Don't call me racist; it wasn't just the blacks. The only two/three white people they had were also stupid. They were all just generally annoying as Hell. Thank whoever that I had my Zune mp3 player to mute them all out.

One prayer that's on my mind... PLEASE don't have my math class for my first period. FOR CHRIST SAKES, PLEASE. And if I do, PLEASE OH PLEASE let it not be my teacher from last year. My teacher from last year, Mrs. Ruffin, who is old and annoying, teaches both Geometry and Algebra II. I have Algebra II this year. I hope she doesn't teach the honors kids. I would always hope every day that she wasn't there that day... or she slipped on some water and broke a bone or something. Last year, every time I would walk in the class and find out she wasn't there that day, I would freak out in incredible happiness and do some sort of victory stance.

Once cooler weather comes into play later this year, I'll be planning to work out again, doing the good ol' weight lighting, curling, pinching, sit-ups...

I guess I'll spend some time at Kody's today, just to enjoy my last day.

Ugh, college starts next week for me and I'm pretty sure I will have another crap schedule. Classes starting at 7 am and finishing at 7 PM with an hour break for lunch is unfunny as hell.
