Out of curiosity were do you align and why (since Obama keeps popping up in other topics)

I am neutral towards Obama because I feel he is too conservative and not fulfilling a lot of his promises. But this would be assumed since I'm registered under green party declined to state.

(could someone move this to serious discussion please, I forgot there was one of those).

I think most people started hating on Obama before he even became president. He can't do anything right in some people's eyes.

I voted for Obama and I think I made a good choice. McCain is a grumpy old man that comes off as passive-aggressive. And well, I fucking can't stand Palin. How the hell did I spell Palin wrong. Fixed now. lol

Very true. I know someone who claims he tried to kill himself after the Obama election but I guess his family talked him out of it. He's from Oklahoma...gasp (only state to have every county vote for McCain). I also have a friend who already thinks he can blame everything wrong with the country on Obama and has been for months. Didn't blame bush for 9/11 but blames Obama on the recession. It is maddening.

Anti-Obama. I didn't like Obama from the get go and I'm from Illinois.

He did absolutely nothing for Illinois and so far he's only meesed up the country more.

Obama can get basically anything he wants done since he owns congress. The extreme liberal faction under Pelosi is what will hurt us. Good thing the Blue dogs realize that.

Some of what Obama does I agree with, but I am angry that he is putting major issues on the back-burner by bringing up these so-called "racial issues". (the economy)

1) Lack of earmarks is a good thing.
2) Mess up country how?
3) Extreme liberal faction? This is American politics, you'd have trouble just find a handful of leans-socialists in congress, let alone an entire extreme liberal faction.
4) "racial issues" You mean the gates thing?

I just hear a lot of Obama bashing all the time. Bush messed up this country so much. But I guess being a retard allows you to do whatever you want. When Bush was in office, everyone talked about how everything was Clinton's fault and it all just fell on Bush. Now Obama is in office, it's all Obama's fault. Why don't people say Bush's mistakes fell on Obama? It's really fucked up.

I never considered myself a member of any party but after hearing so many ignorant people defend Bush who claim to be conservative republicans, I am much more democrat than I ever knew. It makes me sick.

Obama is a magical wizard who will use his magic powers to fix the economy! XD

I personally believe that Obama is good. Hell, anything is better than Bush, well, maybe not Palin, but you get the point.

I voted for McCain in my high school's mock election. Of course, I live in Mass, so it's kind of obvious what the turnout was. The funny part was we had these people from the politics class come and act out as McCain and Obama reps and they said stuff like they would "Fix the economy" "lower gas prices" and "pull us out of iraq" and "pay for our college educations" Ha, fat chance.

Never liked Obama, and the whole Gates thing was blown way out of proportion.
