Here I am, listening to music whilst sitting at my computer, with the 4th of July's end hours away. With that finishing, so does this week. I went with my dad this morning to get some food for his BBQ, using his brand new grill. It wasn't anything big, really. Had a few chairs out on my dad's deck, under shade from the huge ass tree in our backyard. Luke, dad, his friend, and I were just sitting out there, with a huge fan blowing at us since it was 100 degrees outside. Damn, I'll tell you what...this summer has been the hottest summer of my life. All my other summers would go all the way in the low 90's, but this summer, the heat we've been getting makes 90 degrees feel cool. And it does, because when it got into the afternoon, it felt cool, even though it was around 90. But anyway, the barbeque was great, had some cold soft drinks, and a quiet outdoors... besides the radio music blasting from my dad's shed. My mom stayed inside. Even though it was only four of us, today was satisfying. We barely ever get fireworks, and this year was no exception. I don't mind, though. I can still hear some outside through my window. To be honest, it seems that this summer is starting to speed up. It's already four days into July. I guess the first few weeks of summer go slow because you really appreciate that free time off. But as you get further into summer, each day becomes less grateful and is only a day. Haha, I should have that perspective during my school years. :D Perhaps if I find new things to do, it might go back to a slow pace again. Never even gone swimming this summer yet. I gotta check up on my little buddy Dallen to see if he even got his pool ready. Maybe Kyle's grandmother will actually have her pool ready for once, too. I guarantee Kyle and Kody went swimming already without telling me. It wouldn't be the first time they did stuff without inviting me... or even telling me at least. I've noticed the other day that I'm getting weaker, since I haven't worked out for 3-5 months, when I tried lifting weights at Kody's. I could only do 2 reps of 105, even though I used to be able to do 5-6. I would work out again, but it's just waaay too hot to lift weights in either of our garages. I'd rather wait until at least November so it'll cool down. I could do cardio in the heat, but I'd rather do that with Demetri when he comes around. I haven't seen any of my friends for weeks besides Kyle and Kody. I'm getting the curiosity of what Demetri, Saint, and Dallen have been up to.
