I made this thread with GFN in mind and he won't even post in it. I guess he doesn't love Michael after all. For shame. Sonic misses Michael too.

Joseppi, I felt that if i posted here, my obsession would become more or less apparent. I'm not as obsessed as I was years back, but it was still just as tragic an event. I was lookig foward to a comeback, and my mom even said that if he were to come stateside after his London shows that she would take me to see him. Every time I signed on facebook that day there was nothing but people bashing him, and it irritated me. People on here even say that Farrah Faucett and Billy Mayes deserve more attention. If i were to disagree, i'd most likely be called a hater, which is why i initially refused to post in this topic. If i try to explain my point of how influential Michael was in the marketing of music and the evolution of modern pop music, my point would be completely ignored and I would be bashed for supporting him. Please understand, Joseppi, i appreciate your consideration of myself. |

It's all good GFN. Michael Jackson did a lot for music. And I am probably speaking for everyone when I say that we only teased you about being an MJ fan in a playing way. Not because we think any less of you for it. You've always been a cool guy. And I'm glad you finally posted here. Hell, when I think of Michael, you always come to mind. As soon as I heard he died, I knew I had to post here to say I am sorry to hear it. I was actually sad too. Being a big Sonic fan and finding out that he was also one and that he was involved in the music for Sonic 3, I started liking him more. This past month I've done a lot of research on MJ and Sonic 3, so it was really weird for me when he died because I had been reading so much about him. He had had some problems in his life, who knows what is true and what isn't. He had a hard life since he was a kid. And that would make anyone have some issues. But don't feel like you can't talk to us about it. We're your friends. |

I hear Michael Jackson didn't die of cardiac arrest, he actually died in the childrens ward from a stroke. He's also being melted down to make lego so that children can play with him. |

Reading arnies post was the first time in my life that I ever went halfway between a laugh and a "wtf thats just wrong". It felt really weird. Anyway, I cant say i was an MJ fan. I listened to some of his stuff. But I can appreciate the impact he had on music and on those who found him influential. |

Anyone watch the funeral? It was on like every channel. Anyway, his daughter at the end was one of the saddest moments I've seen on TV. |
