Braces. Something I needed, mainly due to the crowding on my bottom teeth. Due to the crowding on the bottom, I have one tooth inward towards my tongue. Even one of my front teeth on the bottom is half-way behind the other. I should have gotten braces about a year ago, but my dad didn't have the money at the time. I already got my teeth molded and examined, now I'm finally getting the spacings next Tuesday, and braces the Tuesday after that (23rd). Bad timing, though. Saint is planning to have a party at his home in Mandeville next week, and invited me to come over (along with Demetri) for a week. But since I got to take care of braces, that's something I'm going to have to miss, since it would be a pain to bring me back and forth 40 miles or so. Hopefully, my braces will go along with my short(-ish) hair now. I know it's going to hurt like a mofo for the first week or two. I already witnessed my older brother Jacob and my friend Dallen go through it. One of the girls I know at L.W. Higgins just got her braces a week before school ended. It was painful for her, too. Luckily, I'm only going to have braces for 20 months, which is less than two years, if every goes as planned. That way, I'd have them off in the middle of my junior year. Once they're off, my overbite should be taken care of, and I'll have great bottom teeth. I'm already thankful they didn't have to pull any teeth out on the bottom (surprisingly). Jacob had to get some teeth pulled for his braces years ago. He spend a whole week with a cold bag or something on his throbbing gums. I hope I'm up for these braces. It's going to suck, though, that I'm gonna have to limit myself on some foods. I can't figure out what game I want to play right now. The sun's fading away, and I'm in the mood for a good classic game. Funny, though, how I immediately become bored once I go on Starcraft or Diablo II. Maybe I should start a new character on Diablo II and keep myself occupied with that. ...Yeah, that sounds good. |
