So here was my Sunday: I finally got out of bed around 1:30PM today, right after my older brother did. (He stayed over for the night.) As soon as I got onto Myspace some 15 minutes later, Saint asked me over the site if I wanted to go to the park with him and Demetri. The park is just one of the few things we have here in Waggaman. So, without any other plans, I told him, "Sure." Put in my contacts, took a shower to mainly refresh my now-trimmed hair, and got dressed as soon as I finished. It's hard to get used to having shorter hair, because I have to learn how to get it right, and it's still used to having bangs in the back... So I stopped by Kody and Kyle's, where Saint was. Some minutes later, we start walking our way to the park. It was in the front of the neighborhood, next to River Road. So it was a good 4-5 blocks away from my house. Demetri was waiting for us at the park. I couldn't believe how hot it quickly got in just weeks. It was in the low 90s, and I was walking with two shirts on (like an idiot). Good thing I was carrying a bottle of water on my way there. When we got there, we met up with Demetri under one of the overhangs, where there's a big picnic table. We threw the ball for 10 minutes in the hot sun, then decided it was way too damn hot. For the next hour and a half, we sat there on the bench. Demetri was talking about how he was pissed off that his plan for Texas this summer was canceled, because there's nothing to do in Waggaman. We basically had the same view about our neighborhood. Then, being Demetri and Saint, they started talking about their sex stories and stuff. It's not hard to believe their stories, because girls around this whole area in my state really are whores. Jacob used to bring chicks home almost nightly, and I could hear some of them through the wall...They were THAT loud. Some of their stories were pretty funny, though. Saint was telling about the chicks where he now lives (he's only visiting Waggaman right now) and how he already did some 4-5 chicks already. Seriously, if it really is true, I'm not surprised. You can bang a chick around here without even hooking up with them. So Saint and Demetri talked about all that crap the whole time we sat there. Saint's dad called up, saying that food at their house was ready. It was around 4:30 by then. (I forgot to mention that we were waiting on the food. :P) Demetri couldn't come, since Saint's dad (for some unknown reason) doesn't want Saint hanging out with Demetri. Saint and I walked to his house for the barbeque they were having. They had relatives over and stuff... Odd how they weren't really celebrating anything. I got a hamburger, some chicken, egg salad, and a nice piece of pie. Ate in Saint's room. We quietly left and winded up back at my house, watching TV. There was this cool marathon today on Spike of "1000 Ways To Die". Some crazy crap you'd never image. I bet if you watch one season straight and then go outside, you'd be paranoid as a mofo. As dusk came around, Demetri and Steven come by. We winded up talking outside in my front yard about random stuff until the mosquitoes started getting to us. Unfortunately, they weren't planning to do anything. Went back into the house to watch the last moments of the marathon on TV. Now I haven't done much since. Well, that was a good Sunday. |
