At this moment, I'm 10 days into this summer. So far, it's been more like "meh". I don't know how I seem to have lost my excitement for this summer. Yeah, I wanted to get out of school badly just like every year, but there's not much I can do at home either. Maybe I realized my life has been going in circles, somewhat. Bored at school, somewhat bored at home, and back to boredom at school. I've been sitting inside for almost a whole week now, surfing the internet or playing games. This summer has already been different, though. I've decided that, this year, I don't want to have my routine summer sleeping habits, which is basically inverted from my school year's sleeping schedule. I already sleep in to the afternoon now, and that's as far as I want to go. I wouldn't be surprised if I develop insomnia, though. I take random naps during the day at different times, and I go to sleep different hours around dawn. Reminds me of last summer, how it was very troubling to get back on a regular sleeping schedule because I always slept at random times. Speaking of sleep, ever since I've gotten a new bed a month ago, my dreams have gotten crazier and longer. The first night I had my bed, I dreamed about a huge zombie invasion. Those next few nights, I experienced some more abnormal dreams. Don't remember them now, but I know I had them. Even recently, I had a dream that Billy Mays and I were escaping a large building that was about to explode from just lightning. Yeah, Billy Mays. Crazy huh? Now that it's summer, I have much more time to remember these dreams, instead of hopping out of bed for school as soon as I wake up. I need to get in the habit of writing them down; they would be one hell of a read sometime in the future. I want to do something today, but it's already three hours away from dusk. (Woke up at 3PM today...) I'll probably visit Kody and Kyle (even though they won't be doing much), and hopefully I can get some time to stroll around on my bike. |
